let me know what you have experienced...
i am trying to get my guys to play plays that actually net some yards against tougher opponents.
but the general question is this.....lets say my auto adjust is set at 50
i have 2 plays i am running first down, both have a 50/50 chance of being run.
if play a nets no yards on its first attempt i assume that would go under a ZERO heading.
then it runs play B, this play nets 5yrds, also would go under a zero heading.
now play A runs again and nets no yards, now the adjust would take the 2 data points and automatically adjust the setting to run by.......? half, lets just say half.
now play B runs again and this time nets 5 more yrds,
at this point auto adjust should start dropping the likelihood of play A and increase the likelihood of play B.
now if that is the case wouldnt it be wise to set all plays to even chance to run and set your auto at 50....there by ensuring the likelihood of getting a good play, or at least the one that is working.
with that said assuming that the opponents defense is set at 50 and their play that previously didnt cover you play B now begins to adjust at the same rate...so you squeeze out X more plays before it starts to falter.
at what point does play A come back into the game to allow for the new play to work against their defense for the play B????
