Think this is anything to worry about? 5 missed tackles today. Mostly against a back 11 levels higher, but I'd rather prepare if I need to make changes for higher levels.

Punch Out plays on Power tackling style, has 63 in Str & Tkl. Power tackler VA is at 15.

For what it's worth, my SS has 76 strength and 63 tackling, plays on power tackling, has 15 in Power Tackler, and is missing about 15% of his tackles.

Power tackling is one of the reasons for so many missed tackles, another reason is being outleveled.

Think I can counter this with a VA (Sure Tackler), or taking Str/Tkl to 68? Or save the points and just realize it's a function of the game and take it off Power Tackling style...when playing this type of back?

i'd just play balanced against a HB like that, though a 68 tackling wont hurt and only help the games you do play on power

You must have a very nice DC to allow you to play with Power Tackling on your safety

I think playing on Balanced would help with that.

63 tackling isn't enough for Power tackling. Work on getting tackling up to 70+

Think 63 Str is enough, or work on both to 70?

Lower strength wont make you miss tackles, so you're fine there.

You are going to miss some tackles. Its part of the game. But power tackling causes more missed tackles. You could also work on tackling and/or SA's and/or VA's.

This is quality advice So...basically Str/Tkl/VAs and SAs....got it. I was going to try punting
