I don't get whats the point of coaches? You get more skill point sif ya have a coach or something? Ive been ignoring all the coaching talk since I retired all my older players.

Nevermind I just looked, this game is getting out of hand IMO, they should just force retirement and be done with it. Now teams will have a gazillion coaches and get a leg up through that type of means.

Exactly. Coaches who increase training? Hello even more powerful SSB teams. Coaches who improve team play? Hello easy wins to people with connections vs. talent.

now that i read through all of the threads, this coaching seems to be complete bullshit, a waste of time. just as you guys said above, it makes some teams even better than they should be, and makes winning just a popularity contest. GLB was fine as it is, dont ruin it.

FWIW, I posted in the discussion thread about this (coaches in PeeWees) twice yesterday and didn't get a response from Bort or from anyone else in that thread... I know I'm a newbie, but I tried.... There was also some talk of not getting all your flex points back if you retired a player "early". That is something that should scare all PeeWee players.

They were talking about it in the context of someone taking a level 30ish player and turning him into a coach. There was quite a bit of talk, but the focus was always on those middle-aged players. My question as to whether it would affect PeeWees wasn't answered....
