I can't tell if they're useless or not, even for a build with the high strength that supposedly makes them useful, so my strength DE hasn't touched them. Anyone seen them be effective?

strong base is passing... so not really. Wall, ... I would say yes if that's what you're really shooting for.

But I would also make sure your guy is physically capable to take care of those SA's as well.
