The next two levels for my DT, I will probably cap stamina (3 SP I have now), take speed to 78, and maybe SB to 11. After that I'll have to find other random things like vision, jumping, confidence, maybe deflect ball or wall or big hit to spend on. Sound reasonable? He's level 55 with >80 natural str/agi.

I think so....Shed Block is THE most important SA for a DT IMO.

Really take SB over 10 versus getting Breakthrough up to say 10 as well?

well the more accurate comparison would be something like 11 in shed blocks (from 10) or
2 wall, 1 breakthrough
3 breakthrough, 1 deflect
2 breakthrough 1 something, 1 big hit (got a big hit endorsement already)

I have never regretted a single day that I got my d.t.'s sheds up to 13

would 18 shed blocks be insane? I have 2 shed block pieces on my pass rushing DT so could potentially get to 18. Was wondering if it was more effective to turn one in and search for a First Step or Break Block% piece instead. Hmmmm...

I don't think SAs above 15 do anything at all. (My De had 2 pieces of +FS and was pretty excited about taking it to 19 before hear that bit of news.)

I think break block % is way more synergistic with high shed blocks than 1 piece of first step is.

one of my DE has a shed block peuec that currently brings his she block up to 10 i heard about dimisnishing returns and didnt was wondering if anyone has better info on it ?

Diminishing returns means only that the additional amount of bonus decreases. So if your 10th point gives 5% more bonus than you had at 9 points, 11 might only give an extra 4%, or an extra 1%...the amount isn't known.

Well Bort has said allready that points above 10 are counted as fractional points.

Allthough we don't now what kind of fractions are involved it could just be as simple as this:
0.9 11
0.8 12
0.7 13
0.6 14
0.5 15
0.4 16
0.3 17
0.2 18
0.1 19
