Pee Wee leagues are a ton of fun but not when over half your games are against CPU teams.

A quick summary:

16 leagues
512 Teams
263 are agent owned
249 are CPU teams

There should be 8 leagues, 256 teams all owned by players

This doesn't even take into account teams that aren't trying and get beat by CPU teams.

Anybody have any solutions?

Would make the leagues tougher all the way around IMO, I agree we have been preaching about reducing the amount of leagues for quite some time. Your best bet is to play in a lot of scrimmages

Cut down on leagues. Other than that, there'sno other way of doing this. I would, however, like to get rid of D-Leagues.

then we have more slowbuilders in peewee to roll.

There really should only be about 8-10 peewee leagues... that'd be good for the current peewee teams/owners (and even future owners), but it would be bad business for Bort.

I mean most owners in peewee leagues have to create at least 5-10 players for their own team and call on their network of agents/friends to create for them [who otherwise probably wouldn't make guys for peewee] inturn generating a lot of flex $$$ for Bort.

Bort gave us solid competition up in Gold league [for the most part, and it will be better next season] but not across the board in peewee, also recruiting is still an uphill battle as there are so many freaking peewee teams.

Its clear cut what needs to be done (reduce the amount of peewee leagues). But it wont happen as its not in the financial interests of Bort [at this stage].

The way to fix the slowbuild guys is have a slowbuild pee wee league. Then they all get to compete with each other also.

This is another problem. Agents purchase a team, then don't put the time into it and sell it back screwing everyone over. Bort should not refund any money to these owners.

Maybe leagues should be realigned right before game 1 and based on the amount of CPU players on a roster. If a team has all human players, they most likely are in it for the long haul.

A lot of owners sell it back once they realize they cant get enough players to fill a team (which is a direct result of too many teams).

Silver #2. Chihuahua. Human team goes CPU, but leaves all of its players and tactics intact. Result: 7 and 1.

That's why I suggested the following:

Bort should not refund any money to these owners.

As former owner of Chihua hua Cowboys can I say it was not for the $$$ the team went CPU.

But there is a serious lack of decent players willing to do their part of the contract.

- suddenly is the player a slow-builder (even if team is not and stated).
- will not boost as promised
- inactive for several days, even more than 7, which means loss of TP's.
- do not rapport in, when setting the player tactics
- do not equip their player (money in the fund)
- and I could go on.

We'll you're the idiot that recruited them.

Anyways, they are sitting at 7-1 currently and probably going to playoffs.

Copper is a joke. Silver is better, and Gold is high high competition.....Is there too many leagues....yes, that is very apparent, but as Thunder says it's better for Bort to continue to do that.

On the flip side, it's hard to justify Bort reducing the leagues when I'm willing to bet the wait list has well over 250 new owners just waiting for a team for next season.......the real problem is the yahoo's who figure out they cannot recruit and compete so they sell mid or early season.......They cant compete because there WILL be a group of agents that will field a full team and all will boost and buy CE leaving the guys that cannot owning a team w/ no hope of getting anywhere.....You want to fix Peewee....

DONT ALLOW BOOSTING OR CUSTOM EQUIP!

I GUARANTEE that if that was the rule there would be more than enough players! Now obviously there would need to be some sort of a change in the way it's handled so that Bort can make money because non boosters/CE guys retire and get all of the creation cost back.....

How bout this
- Any player that is signed to a Peewee team has the boosting and custom equip option locked for the entire time they are on the team.
- If they purchased custom equip before signing the contract it becomes un-equipped and the agent cannot equip it until after they are off of the peewee roster or day 41 basically
- They can boost after they are off the peewee roster as well or day 41 basically
- All Peewee Players if/when retired they only get 70% of the creation cost back. So basically if I create 10 lineman costing me 1000 flex and retire all 10 I only get 700 flex back.***
- Bort will need to do some programming to flag the guys that where created and played for 1 peewee season. If there is some way he can flag a player that is coming off of a Peewee roster and gets retired within 5 days or something like that......I'm sure he can figure it out.

***Before you say WHAT, We get 100% back now, why would we play less.....you have to look at the big picture of this suggestion. If we continue to allow boosting/ce there will continue to be a trouble of recruiting because it's tough to find agents, let alone ones that can boost and custom. If you purchase and boost/custom 2 peewee's a season and retire them, you know that you will get back 100% of CC and 70% of BCE costs. Well what if we said that there was a level playing field where NOBODY could boost or custom....now your 2 players will allow you to build 15 players

Current
C - 100cc, 300b, 900ce ---- Retire and get 840+100=940
CB - 200 cc, 600b, 900ce ---- Retire and get 1050+200=1250

So you spend 3000 flex on 2 players and get 2190 back - 2 PLAYERS

New
P - 100 ---- Retire and get 70
CB - 200 ---- Retire and get 140
C - 100 ---- Retire and get 70
CB - 200 ---- Retire and get 140
WR - 300 ---- Retire and get 210
HB - 300 ---- Retire and get 210
QB - 300 ---- Retire and get 210
DE - 200 ---- Retire and get 140
DT - 200 ---- Retire and get 140
LB - 200 ---- Retire and get 140
SS - 200 ---- Retire and get 140
FS - 200 ---- Retire and get 140
OG - 100 ---- Retire and get 70
OT - 100 ---- Retire and get 70
WR - 300 ---- Retire and get 210
==========================
3000 in creations and 2100 in return flex (see the similairities)
Oh, and that is 15 PLAYERS - You think recruiting just got easier? You think it is now more attractive for agents.

And for those that think it wont work because Bort would lose out on boosting and ce flex when retired.....well dont you think he'd gain a ton of agents.....I know one thing, CPU players make him absolutely nothing. This should keep his bottom line about the same and should move towards the ultimate goal of keeping Peewee competitive throughout.
