It works pretty much as stated. It makes your pass quality better, which in turn allows you to have better accuracy, throw long passes better and make your passes easier to catch.

Looking for one of these myself (to go with FG and TS pieces). No luck so far. As for how it works, each upgrade will add +2% to the bonus, i.e. after 4 upgrades you would have a +13% pass quality bonus.

Would you guys say the same about this piece? It's only 2%...

It's alright, but I'd wait for better, you should probably wait longer on shopping for AEQ with your QB anyway.

I like the +pass quality % pieces over the +SA pieces. I've got two of them equipped that total +33%. Those with a 9 in TS seem to make a nice combo for low INTs and high comp%.

But would you take a pass quality +5% with no additional stats though?

I'd prefer a piece that was +2 throwing +2% pass quality to a +5% pass quality piece.

yeah they are out there. I have a piece of +2 throwing +3% pass quality.
But tbh I would take the +5% pass quality alone and try shopping for a 2nd piece of equipment with pass quality and some good stat like throwing or vision attached to it and upgrade them to ~30% pass quality total. That will really help your Int and Completion numbers!!!

Finally got a decent pass quality roll. My options this roll are:

+1 Str/+3% pass quality

+2 Car/+3% pass quality

+5% pass quality

last one.
