Believe it or not. The Bears are too good.

I think the texans should be higher then the bears. They went 8-8 in a tougher division and they don't have a ? at QB.

We'll be no better than 5-11, the Texans have a shot at the WC so I agree.

I really think the Bears D will be a top 5 met year, so as long as the offense doesn't turn it over to much we should win a lot more than 5 games.

Their defense is not that bad but their offense is awful and their coaching is sub par. They are probably waiting to get a good QB next year in the draft but they wont do much this year. I would be surprised to see them do better then 7-9 and thats only if Orton turns out to be their answer at QB.

It would be a stretch to put their defense in the top 5. off the top of my head I can say that Dallas, NYG, and New england and a few other teams all have better defenses. Then they have all sorts of off-field issues like Urlachers contract and Benson getting pepper sprayed and they had some big ones last summer with Tank Johnson and Briggs. This team needs a new coach before they have any shot at winning their division which will be very competitive next year.

We don't have safeties! We have no NT! Everyone's old!

Craig Steltz is a gamble and Jerry Angelo doesn't have much luck with safties.
Hunter Hillenmeyer is below average at best.
Darwin and Dusty need to stay healthy.
Vasher too, and Vasher needs to start focusing more on the defense of the pass and not the interception.
Mark Anderson is a pass rusher, not an every down DE.

I have more reasons, they're just painful to speak of.

Oh and the offense will turn the ball over, a lot. There's no stopping that.

I hate to say this, but I'm thinking the ranking of the Packers may be a bit generous. I think it really hinges on how good Rodgers ends up being for us. He's definitely a bit different style-wise than Brett Favre, which I think will add some growing pains to our offense. The offense was pretty much built around Favre's gunslinger, throw it as hard as I can mentality.
