I should get a Pee-Wee team next season, so going to populate it with all my own chars as starters and just use CPU players as the backups.

My player building tactic will be to soft-cap the 1st stat while intense training the 2nd/3rd stats. Once the 1st stat is at the soft-cap, I focus all points into the 2nd/3rd stats while intense training the 4th/5th stats. By the end of the Pee-Wee season, I hope to have the first 3 stats at the soft-cap and be in the process of bring the 4th/5th stats up to that. After the Pee-Wee season, I plan on getting a Cap-13 team of my own and bringing all my players into it as the starters, but that's for another discussion.

This Pee-Wee team will be a PURE running team, ZERO passing. With a running QB and both types of HB's, and a good blocking FB, TE and WR's, I have plenty of rushing options, mainly out of the I-Form. Likewise, my defense will be mainly anti-run using the Cover-1 with only the CB's and FS protecting against the pass.

Since my players will be the starters with only CPU chars as the backup, all equipment bonuses for the 1st season will go into Stamina.

Knowing what type of team I want and what I want to do with my chars, please look over my player build strategy and let me know if I need to make any changes to it...

QB-Rushing:
1st Stat: Speed
2nd/3rd: Agility-Vision
4th/5th: Throwing-Strength.

HB-Power:
1st stat: Speed
2nd/3rd: Strength-Carrying
4th/5th: Agility-Stamina

HB-Elusive:
1st stat: Speed
2nd/3rd: Agility-Vision
4th/5th: Catching-Carrying

FB:
1st stat: Blocking
2nd/3rd: Strength-Carrying
4th/5th: Speed-Stamina

C/G/OT/TE:
1st stat: Strength
2nd/3rd: Blocking-Agility
4th/5th: Speed-Stamina

WR:
1st stat: Blocking
2nd/3rd: Speed-Agility
4th/5th: Catching-Vision

NT/DT:
1st stat: Strength
2nd/3rd: Tackling-Agility
4th/5th: Speed-Stamina

DE:
1st stat: Strength
2nd/3rd: Tackling-Speed
4th/5th: Agility-Stamina

LB/SS:
1st stat: Vision
2nd/3rd: Tackling-Speed
4th/5th: Agility-Stamina

CB/FS:
1st stat: Speed
2nd/3rd: Agility-Vision
4th/5th: Tackling-Jumping

K/P:
1st stat: Strength
2nd/3rd: Kicking/Punting-Vision
4th/5th: Confidence-Stamina

Now consider that the 1st stat isn't always an ideal one as I have to pick the 2nd/3rd and 4th/5th stats based on the available Intense Training combos, so if you know of a better stat progression, by all means, please post it.

Thoughts?

FB should go Speed first to keep up with Elusive Back and QB, imo

Really looking for input here, can anyone else comment on any templates, or my team in general?

Why not try and get some human backups? Even a crappy human build is going to be better than a CPU.

I would love that, but how many people want to be a backup on a team where the owner owns all the starters and wants as much playing time as possible for them? I can try, but something tells me people wont want to do that.

Good point, but still worth it to try.
