I am planning of doing 4 editions of this new part I plan, it will be now, Week 8, Week 12 and before the playoffs!

And yes, I have used my own super computer to get me some rankings who can compete with the Super Kamputer they have in Ketchikan!

Have fun reading it, I will do in reverse order from 15 to 1: (The numbers you will see above are the offensive rank, defensive rank and the SoS as used in the League Rankings script made by GarrettFoster (used it for the rankings but used my logic to change certain things)

15) 25-3-0.563 Alpine Golfers

Good: They allowed nothing against CCCC, 5th best passing offense in USAPL so far!

Bad: 25th offense, 30th best passing offense, sorry, but you wont win many games if your offense sucks

Next: SF should be winnable, but then Bullets, NB and Gurupies will test them pretty well!

14) 15-11-0.313 San Diego Demolition

Good: Anthony Welker has been one of the best WR in this league this season!

Bad: Best team they faced was Laredo and they lost a close one to those guys!

Next: They have 3 tough opponents next, Northwest, Spokane and MM will be tough for them, lets see what they are made of!

13) 23-14-0.563 Washington Bullets

Good: They have a good SoS and they have the 2nd best passing D in the league!

Bad: That loss to NB is huge for them and they are 22th on offense in the league!

Next: After the NB loss, no way to rest, Gurupies and Golfers are next, if they can be 3-3 after 6 weeks, they have an easy part on weeks 7-11 so the playoffs could be a high possibility!

12) 13-15-0.688 Laredo Lesbians

Good: After the easy Richey game, they maybe were 1-2 afterwards, but they played Ketchikan to the wire and they just didnt do anything on offense against Nashville!

Bad: They should have beaten Ketchikan, they lost it in the 4th quarter! BTW, we still haven't heard anything from the referee who made the tough call that, in Laredo fans opinion, cost them the game! If we can get some news, we will tell you so

Next: 2 winnable games vs Chicago and New Jersey and tough ones vs Wolfpack and MM in the next 4 weeks for Laredo!

11) 7-9-0.250 Indianapolis Gurupies

Good: Their rushing game is the 5th in the league, led by the excellent duo of Williams and Campbell!

Bad: Except for CCCC, the rest of their schedule was very easy with wins vs Chicago, Naked and SF!

Next: Tough stretch for them: Bullets, New Brunswick, Slashers and Alpine!

10) 2-4-0.313 Chocolate City Cha Chings

Good: They did beat the Gurupies and they 2nd in both offense and defense according to the total of yards!

Bad: 2 points only vs Alpine didnt help their cause, they have a not-so-good SoS!

Next: DDL/Richey/NAN/South Otto, they can definitely be 7-1 at mid-season if they play like they should do!

9) 11-18-0.250 ***Official*** Footballguys

Good: After the Lincoln upset, they came back strong with excellent performances against Alpine and Columbus, they run the ball well (4th) and they stop the run well (5th)!

Bad: MacIntosh killed them 3 times in the 1st game and DDL gave them a rough scare today!

Next: Easy 3-game stretch before a meeting against the excellent Blaze!

8) 1-10-0.000 New Jersey Blaze

Good: They have a lot of weapons on offense! They have the best rushing offense and the best rushing defense!

Bad: 0-16, that is the record of the 4 teams they just beat, this is why they are there right now!

Next; If they do their job well, they should be 7-0 before the big matchup with OFG in Week 8!

7) 10-17-0.688 Lincoln Navigators

Good: They pass the ball well (Riverboat Gambler is the best QB in USAPL) and they stop the pass well (4th in the league so far). They did beat OFG with that offense!

Bad: They are unidimensional, they cant run and they cant stop the run, MM and Wolfpack showed how to beat them!

Next: The next 5 games are very winnable, so a 7-2 record after Week 9 is not out of the question!

6) 14-8-0.250 New Brunswick Scarlet Knights

Good: The win vs the Bullets finally put them as a pretender at least for the crown, 9th best D in the league!

Bad: Their kicker scored 50 of the 110 points they scored, except for the Bullets, they had an easy SoS

Next: Slashers/Gurupies/Alpine will decide where this team will be in the playoff race!


Top 5 coming after the break!

I might disagree on the Laredo vs Nashville thing only because we stalled inside their 10 three times..they have definitely been the best D we've played so far though.

5) 8-1-0.375 Ketchikan Kamper Adventure Rentals

Good: Pierce Dravz is still a very good QB and their D is 3rd in the league! They post the best team material in the USAPL forums also

Bad: 25th rushing offense, I thought Ketchikan was a rushing team 1st, maybe it is Dravz that forced the offense to change his focus!

Next: DCD should be winnable, then we relieve the rivalry with the Mighthawks and then tough battles with Spokane and MM ahead!

4) 12-16-0.500 Spokane Privateers

Good: Red Rackham leads the 4th best passing offense in USAPL, they could be the future Blaze (best rookie team in USAPL)!

Bad: 27th in passing defense, they got killed by Minnesota, but came back well afterwards!

Next: lolWSI then an interesting 3-game stretch: Demolition/Ketchikan/Nashville

3) 24-6-0.563 Washington Wolfpack

Good: Wolfpack have the 2nd best rushing offense in USAPL and the 5th best D in USAPL! Good win vs Lincoln

Bad: Where is Pain? They also couldnt stop the Hounds offense and they never scored over 30 points in a game so far!

Next: They should be 7-1 after Week 8, easy part of their schedule!

2) 9-2-0.375 Nashville Hounds

Good: They did beat the Wolfpack and they look sharp so far! Best D so far in USAPL!

Bad: Not too many things, 19th against the run, but they still survived the Wolfpack dangerous rushing offense

Next: Northwest and Spokane should be intriguing in that 4-game span!

1) 5-5-0.500 Minnesota Marauders

Good: 3rd best rushing offense, 2nd best rushing Defense, 4 very solid wins

Bad: 29 in passing D, but they faced Gambler and Rackham (2 of the 3 best QB in USAPL) so stats are inflated

Next: They should be 7-0 when they will face Ketchikan in Week 8!

MM def. is a very good team.. I can't wait to see the MM/Hounds game.

a little confused on Spokane being so high. Lincoln had probably the most unfortunate starting schedule in the league this season. The only thing that makes us look one dimensional so far is just that.

There are a ton of tough teams up here, but we are starting to get a few things figured out.

I appreciate the number 6 nomination, but I think ***O*** should be ahead of us

I'm a tad surprised at top 5 being in the West, especially when one of them is Spokane. After what we did to them I just don't see them as a top 10 team. Their 3 wins have not made up for that yet.
