Welcome to your favorite new weekly feature sponsored by the Kampfire.
For many seasons now the Kampfire has been controlled by Ketchikan's respected and dreaded Kampfire Supercomputer. Even the Eastern Conference now has their own supercomputer with the Kountry Kampers.
However, as with any math-based dotball game there are many of us who are unable to understand all the complicated maths used in dotball.
It was decreed that the Kampers create a new segment so that those who understand facts and not maths could have something just for them-- something unbiased by the many maths of the Supercomputer.
Ketchikan is proud to announce a new unbiased opinion-based feature that even the World League would be able to understand.
And so it is with great honor that I present to you all, the first edition of....
Kamper Kountdowns And Rundowns
New Jersey Blaze vs Northwest Alabama Naturals
Kountdown: Five - weeks until the Blaze regular season schedule starts.
Kountdown: Tonight - Nats season tickets finally go on sale.
Rundown:The Blaze have been extremely disappointing so far this season, trailing after the first quarter after struggling early against both Portland and DDL. The Nats may start out 0-13, and are looking to be the first 0-13 team in world history to finish 3-13.
Blaze win 12- 7
Talking Dogs vs Washington Bullets
Kountdown: Time's up for the Dogs' undefeated season.
Rundown: The Bullets schedule continues to get easier as they face the 3-0 Dogs this week. Dogs are on track for a disappointing 3-4 start.
Bullets win 23 - 15
CCCC at Columbus Woodys
Kountdown: Two - amount of points scored by both teams last week
Rundown: CCCC may have won AAA1 (again) last year, but I'm more impressed by their win over the Gurupies. The Woodys have already lost to 2 teams from AAA1, something even WSI can't claim. Go ahead and make it 3.
CCCCs win 51-3
Indianapolis Gurupies vs San Francisco Demons
Kountdown: Five - seasons and kounting without a trophy for the Gurupies
Rundown: The Gurupies have not won a trophy since AA. That's more than the Demons will be able to say until they are relegated.
Gurupies Win 41-13
South Otto Mice at Washington Slashers
Kountdown: One more week until Kurieg finally wakes up
Rundown: In three games South Otto is already two games away from bettering last season's record. Contrary to popular belief, the Slashers occasionally win games where they are favored.
Slashers win 20-9
***O*** at Detroit Lions
Kountdown: Too long - time USA Pro has been stuck with TSE's losing team.
Rundown: ***O*** has a bye for the next four weeks, including this one.
***O*** wins 62-3
Key West Corsairs at Richey Royals
Kountdown: Two - appearances in Sportscenter for the Royals
Kountdown: One - win for Key West that counts
Rundown: Key West will be the only 3-1 team to have lost by 60+ points this season.
Corsairs win 94-3
Alpine Golfers vs Naked Mole-Rats
Kountdown: ??? - weeks until wessimo figures out how to score more than 20 with a team that put up 24 on the Shockers last season
Rundown: Things have to get worse before they can get better. Luckily for Naked they are almost there as they will face another 0-4 team next week.
Golfers win 20-16
***The KKAR was scheduled to debut next week. However, the Kampfire decided that with the temporary absence of the Kountry Kampers that we extend an olive branch to our forgotten friends in the East with a special edition of KKAR.
