Lets begin with the Eastern Conference:

Washington Slashers 13, Washington Bullets 16 (OT)

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=712993

That was a very good game played in Washington today!

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=712993&pbp_id=5464523

After this TD, it was tied at 13 between both squads, but the Bullets went into Slashers territory and were in a good position to win the game at the end of regulation, but an interception:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=712993&pbp_id=5465875

And a Bigfoot missed 55.5 yds FG forced OT, but he didnt miss his second try, a 41 yds FG that won it for the Bullets, who are 2-1 while the Slashers are 1-2 so far!

Offensive POTG: QB Jason Standridge (Bullets) 17/27 for 172.5 yds, TD
Defensive POTG: DE Ken Cote (Bullets) 8 Tkl, 2 Sack, 1 Hry, 4 TFL, 1 FFum
Special Teams POTG: K Matty Bigfoot (Bullets) 3/4 FG, 1/1 XP

New Brunswick Scarlet Knights 23, San Francisco Demons 21

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=713008

San Francisco led 14-10 after 3 quarters and 21-16 after this TD play:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=713008&pbp_id=5478358

But New Brunswick answered with this play on the following drive:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=713008&pbp_id=5478545

San Francisco couldnt get in FG range and lost this tough game to still be winless while New Brunswick is still undefeated!

Offensive POTG: HB Ox Smersh (New Brunswick) 20 carries for 105.5 yds, 2 TD
Defensive POTG: LB Jonathan Beason (New Brunswick) 7 Tkl, 2 PD, 2 FFum
Special Teams POTG: P Liquored Up Kicker (San Francisco) 4 punts, 40.3 YPP

Detroit Demon Lions 24, Key West Corsairs 29

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=713047

Key West had a 13-0 lead in the 1st quarter, but DDL fought back and took a 24-23 lead after the 3rd quarter! But 2 FG from Scotty McGee and this huge play on D helped Key West to win their 2nd straight while DDL is still searching for their 1st win of the season!

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=713047&pbp_id=5467484

Offensive POTG: QB Paul Blake (DDL) 21/39 for 266 yds, 2 TD, 1 INT
Defensive POTG: LB Joe Krush (DDL) 5 Tkl, 1 FFum, 2 PD
Special Teams POTG: K Scotty McGee (Key West) 3/3 FG, 2/3 XP

Northwest Arkansas Naturals 9, South Otto Porcelain Mice 20

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=713084

NAN was perfect on D for 43 minutes, but they allowed 2 TD in a 3-minute span and got Picked-6 to lose an important game against South Otto, who is 2-1 while NAN is still winless!

Offensive POTG: HB D'Adrian McPeterson (South Otto) 78.5 total yds, 2 TD
Defensive POTG: SS Al "Hammerhead" Horton (South Otto) 3 Tkl, 1 PD, 1 INT, 1 TD
Special Teams POTG: K Jonathon Bishop (NAN) 3/4 FG

Columbus Woodys 2, ***Official*** Footballguys 69

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=713068

Well, since that loss to Lincoln, the OFG D has been superb! They allowed 0 points (only 2 points were a result of a safety), got 6 turnovers and the offense ran all over Columbus for the very solid win, they are 2-1 while Columbus is still winless and are searching for answers!

Offensive POTG: HB Korean Tumr (OFG) 20 carries for 110.5 yds, 4 TD
Defensive POTG: LB Smash Crushbone (OFG) 5 Tkl, 7 PD, 2 INT
Special Teams POTG: HB Tron Williams (OFG) 22 YPKR, 46.2 YPPR, 1 PR TD

Indianapolis Gurupies 52, Naked Mole-Rats 20

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=713035

38 points in the 2nd and 3rd quarter combined were way enough for the Gurupies, who completely took care of Naked to improve at 2-1 while Naked is still winless so far!

Offensive POTG: HB Earl The Tyler Rose Campbell (Gurupies) 21 carries for 180 yds, 2 TD
Defensive POTG: CB Jon Stagnoski (Gurupies) 3 Tkl, 1 TFL, 1 FRec, 1 PD
Special Teams POTG: K Franz Beckenbauer (Gurupies) 1/2 FG, 7/7 XP

Alpine Golfers 15, Chocolate City Cha Chings 2

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=713058

And I thought that OFG did great on D, but damn, Alpine found a way to come out with a spectacular defensive performance (like OFG, only 2 points were because of a safety) but they only allowed 133.5 total yards from the CCCC offense while scoring 1 TD (without a XP) and kicking 3 FG! With that very solid win, Alpine is at 1-2 before entering the easy part of their schedule while CCCC is 2-1!

Offensive POTG: HB Running With the Devil (Alpine) 41 carries for 146.5 yds
Defensive POTG: DE Shaun Kruscher (Alpine) 6 Tkl, 1 Sack, 3 TFL, 1 FFum
Special Teams POTG: K Ball Launcher (Alpine) 3/3 FG, 0/1 XP

After a short break, the Western Conference!

Thanks for the write up. I wouldn't really call our upcoming schedule easy. NMR have been our rivals since like season 3 and we haven't played them for 2 seasons. No scouting info on the demons and then nbsk is 3-0. We'd like to come out of that stretch with a winning record but we'll take what we can get

Keep up the great work. Really nice to read up on what happened around the league since i can't be watching everyone's games. I'll try to do a quarterly eastern ranking like i did last season after the next game

Great write-up. Love it. SF really played us tough. Also surprised to see NMR get it handed to them like that.

Yes. It's crucial we know all the details about which team will lose yet again to the east in the title game.

Defense ruled this week for sure. 2 games in the East that offenses gave blanked. Time for those OC's to sweat over their jobs a little.

Something tells me this year will be different.

Chicago Hedgehogs 6, Washington Wolfpack 20

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=712964

It was more difficult than expected for the Wolfpack today, it was 6-6 after 3 quarters and Chicago played very well, but 2 TD passes from Copeland to Stephens give the Wolfpack the tough win and a 2-1 record while Chicago is still winless but they have passed through the tough stretch of their schedule!

Offensive POTG: HB Tremayne Stephens(Wolfpack) 112 total yards, 2 TD
Defensive POTG: LB Nails McHurt (Wolfpack) 6 Tkl, 1 Sack, 1 FFum, 2 PD
Special Teams POTG: CB #13 Britney Spears (Wolfpack) 30.3 YPKR, 22.6 YPPR

Nashville Hounds 57, New Jersey Battalion 3

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=712902

Nashville never were in trouble during this game, killing New Jersey with an excellent all-around performance! Hounds are still undefeated while New Jersey is 1-2 so far!

Offensive POTG: HB Scipio Africanus (Nashville) 18 carries for 176.5 yds, 2 TD
Defensive POTG: LB J Battle (New Jersey) 12 Tkl, 1 Sack, 1 FFum, 3 PD
Special Teams POTG: K Denny Kapp (Nashville) 5/5 FG, 6/6 XP

San Diego Demolition 26, Carson City Cubes 13

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=712948

20 points in the 2nd quarter was way enough for the Demolition, who are now 2-1 after this win today, while Carson City is 1-1-1 so far!

Offensive POTG: HB Ke N (San Diego) 35 carries for 165.5 yds, 2 TD
Defensive POTG: LB Mark Knopfler (Carson City) 9 Tkl, 2 PD, 1 FRec, 1 TD
Special Teams POTG: K Stonefoot Jackson (San Diego) 2/2 FG, 2/3 XP

Timpanogos Thunder 30, Northwest Nighthawks 26

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=712915

Northwest tried to come back from a 27-9 deficit after 3 quarters, but they were short this time and Timpanogos knocks one of the remaining undefeated squads with the good win, Timpanogos is 2-1, like Northwest, who since causing the upset on Alpine, lost all the momentum they gained from that win!

Offensive POTG: QB Mac James (Timpanogos) 27/38 for 211.5 yds, 2 TD, 1 INT
Defensive POTG: CB Kevin Murphy (Timpanogos) 1 Tkl, 1 PD, 1 INT, 1 TD
Special Teams POTG: K Stumpy Appendage (Northwest) 4/4 FG, 2/2 XP

Portland Aftershocks 7, Spokane Privateers 32

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=712888

It was a game between 2 excellent QB, but the Spokane rushing game and a ST TD took the pressure away from Red Rackham and the Privateers rebound to a 2-1 record with this solid win, while Portland is still searching for their 1st win this season!

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=712888&pbp_id=5470366

Offensive POTG: HB Chales Krauthammer (Spokane) 9 carries for 82.5 yds, 1 TD
Defensive POTG: DE Derrick "The Flash" Thomas (Portland) 5 Tkl, 3 Sacks, 2 Hry, 2 TFL
Special Teams POTG: HB Ron Jeremy (Spokane) 34.5 YPKR, 44 YPPR, 1 PR TD

Ketchikan Kamper Adventure Rentals 26, Laredo Lesbians 24

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=712927

Laredo had a 24-12 lead with 13:32 left in the game, but Ketchikan quickly answered with this play:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=712927&pbp_id=5465036

And this play would give them a 26-24 lead!

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=712927&pbp_id=5465752

But Laredo came back strong with a very long drive but they decided to go for it on 4th and G at the 4 yd line of Ketchikan instead of kicking the FG:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=712927&pbp_id=5466759

The entire stadium was sure it was a TD, but after video review, the referee said that it wasnt a TD, but a TO on downs instead who litterally caused a ruckus in the stadium! I even heard reports of thousands of Laredo fans running after the referee when the last whistle happened to try to scissor him! Anyway, Ketchikan is still undefeated while Laredo is 2-1!

Offensive POTG: QB Pierce Dravz (Ketchikan) 29/37 for 298 yds, 2 TD
Defensive POTG: LB Igor Rakmanov (Ketchikan) 8 Tkl, 1 TFL, 2 PD
Special Teams POTG: K Money In The Bank (Ketchikan) 4/5 FG, 2/2 XP

Lincoln Navigators 13, Minnesota Marauders 30

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=712873

Minnesota scored 10 points on the 1st quarter and they never looked behind, despite allowing Riverboat Gambler to get 300+ passing yds on them! With that important win, MM is still undefeated while Lincoln is 2-1 so far!

Offensive POTG: QB Riverboat Gambler (Lincoln) 35/50 for 419.5 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT
Defensive POTG: LB Nolan Ryan (Minnesota) 7 Tkl, 2 Sacks, 2 FFum
Special Teams POTG: K Golden Arches (Minnesota) 3/3 FG, 3/3 XP

And with this, we conclude this 3rd edition of the SportsCenter USAPL recaps, it is Larry Jennings saying Good Night and we will see tomorrow for the 2 Week 4 Predictions shows (hopefully! ) made by Myself and Tom Wise!

This is the first time in ten seasons of putting up with Larry Jennings' biased and inaccurate reporting that he's ever made me laugh. Nice job pat.

I knew you would love it, after I saw how the PBP went on this one, I got to do something like this!

But that was a freaking bad break, not only they went for it instead of the FG attempt, but they were millimeters away of winning their gamble!

Now, it is time to see how they will react next game!

After four seasons in the West, I'm beginning to doubt that.
