Basically I'm trying to find out if my gear that has +% to Intercept is helping me get Pass deflections or if it's my imagination. The testing I did switching gear would lead me to believe that but not real sure without more testing.

I'm not sure how the rolls go and what skills help what so if anyone can point me to a good faq or info. I've search wiki and looked around the forums but didn't find what I was looking for.

Then on the flipside if I had +PD would that help get interceptions?

The interception roll and the PD roll are different, so +int % doesn't help the PD roll and +PD% doesn't help the int roll.

hm weird since I have 2 pieces that give me a very high chance to int yet I didn't get any INTs but got 100 PDs. Overall my build is...average so i thought maybe it was getting a boost in PDs from the INT. Guess it's just other stuff but just seems strange how many more PDs I got since I started using it.

I think it's entirely possible that your int% opens up you PD radius a little more, and you could be getting more PD's because of it. That is a complete theory though, so don't quote me on it.

Would it help if you have both %int and %catch? I think it should, but I only have the %catch for now. I sold my %deflect for it.

I did give it some thought. I had both of them for the cleats.

My initial thought was to keep both. I changed my mind that time and decided if I can still stop the passes without the deflect.



The last game I had (first time of use) was quite satisfactory. I still had 6 deflects and got an intercept.


I might try having those two together in the future if I get tired of rolling for sdc

It's the same according to Bort. I think it's in the wiki - I'll check.

Catch ball should work for both offense and defense.

I would agree with that.

My CB has +20% Intercept chance, and has no picks, but leads my team in PDs, and beats the crap out of my similarly built CB playing on the other side.
