Any predictions?

I'm the owner of the Dogg Pound, so I am going to refrain from making any predictions other than I think it will be a hard fought game and I wish the H-Town Hitmen luck, but not too much luck !

Seeing as how I am the GM of the hitmen I will also deter the predictions to others.I do want to say that that you have a very solid team and as you said it will be a battle.I see this one being won or loss in the trenches and the turnover factor playing into this one.The team with the least turnovers will in all likelyhood win this game.No matter the outcome it will be a good game and we look forward to playing the Pound.

Good luck Dogg Pound, well maybe not.

You know, looking back at everything I'm gonna change my prediction. 21-17 H-Town.

Alright, I'll post my prediction here.

Orlando Dogg Pound vs H-Town Hitmen:

My prediction: Both teams will have a fun time.

Just kidding.

But seriously:

Both these teams are strong. Damn strong. H-Town has dominated with it's tough defense and a strong offense. Orlando hasn't been a slouch either.

H-Town has played some of the toughest teams in the league but managed to fight through it. The only time they lost was an EXTREMELY close defensive matchup vs Rochester(0-3). Orlando lost once as well but they just got revenge by knocking out Michigan in the semi finals.

Both teams have simply been extremely dominant on the ground and it has been tough to stop Orlando and H-Town all season. Coming from the West, I've been able to see the Hitmen first hand and they are extremely tough to stop, not to mention hard as hell to score on. Orlando, I'm not exactly sure but looking at the stats they seem to play a similar style. I think they match up quite well here.

GO TEXANS of the H-Town Hitmen was asked what he felt was the biggest strength of the Dogg Pound and he responded "There depth is there strong suit which gives them a good rotation of fresh players". GO TEXANS also feels that the offense of the Dogg Pound is their strongest side of the ball.

Likewise, Swamp Rat was asked the same question(but of course about the Hitmen). "Something that maybe some don't recognize is they have been doing great on PRs and KRs." said Swamp. He also mentioned that they have a very deep wide receiever core and have 2 great RBs.

I also asked HeroComp1ex what he thought who would perform better on the ground, and what he though the key to the game was; "Dogg Pound will have a better run game, due to a stronger line. #1 Key for winning: Defense Defense Defense. One blown play can cost either team the game." I completely agree with him and I think there will be a great defensive showdown.

My REAL Prediction: H-Town Hitmen will force turnovers(Shut'em Downslick will have atleast 1 interception) at the right times and play a sound defensive game to outpace the Dogg Pound to the tune of 23-16.

Good luck to both of these teams.

Both teams will cause turnovers throughout the game. It'll go back & forth for 3 quarters, each team will make at least one long distance score for over 40 yds on a play.
The most rockin, hard hitting, jaw crunching, fist clenching, teeth grinding game all year and it comes down to a 4th & long FG of 39 yards with 73 seconds on the clock..

ODP 10 7 10 9 36
HTN 7 10 9 6 32

Of course I can't make a prediction on it but I can honestly say this will be the toughest test we've faced all season. Nothing against any of the teams in the West but the Dogg Pound have serious depth and they do things eerily similar to us.

Whichever way it goes I just hope it's a great game and the sim is fair for both sides. I expect it to be well fought on both sides of the ball and think it will come down to a few key plays....of course I hope it turns out in our favor.

One final good luck to the Dogg Pound.....we'll see you on the field.

I predict 10 to 6 in favor of orlando. there will probably be more missed fieldgoals and fumbles than actual points as both teams claim to fame is defense but I think orlando's offense is slightly better so I give them the slight edge.

My prediction is:
H-Town 15
Orlando 10

Unless there are a few turnovers, I'd be surprised to see either team break 20.
