Title kinda says it all. I'm mostly wondering about a WR with close to 90 base speed.

Ideally, I would want 73 agility, 68 catching, and 60 vision...but that sacrifices a lot.

I'm leaning toward 73 agility, 68 catching, and 48 vision....which still takes forever.

I think catching to 60 would be your best bet. My WR does fine with 60 catching.

If you eventually want 90 base speed, I think the biggest realistic number is 73 agi, 68 catch, 48 vision, with 68/68/48 perhaps being more realistic.

Vision will be fine at 48. If u want you can stop catching at 60, but understand that you are losing something by doing so.

60 catching, capped carrying, and 60 vision at most because once your speed is high enough i would just pump agility and QC.

What's the benefit of 60 vis v. 48? Also, at 73 agility I would think quick cut is a bit less of a priority, but not sure

I read a couple weeks ago vision helps speedy WR's catch in stride, i invested all my boost points into it and I believe it.

If we all listened to everything bort said, every WR would have 70 jumping and 70 confidence imo...

not saying that is how I build my player, but it sounded logical, tried it, seems to work.

anyone ever try a speedster with less agility but higher catching?

like 90-70-60-60 speed-catching-agility-speed.

Would the agility hurt enough? if you can get to that top speed with that catch + vision, you could be pretty devastating.

edit: those are base numbers

no i read (and from experience) QC doesnt get any less useful because your agility. just increasing supllements it so u can make sharper cuts and slow down less. iuno works for me with over 68 agi

As long as you got speed to the 6th or 7th cap straight on, had 10 FS to make up for the low agility, and had 70 plus catching and decent vision, I could see that workign well deep, unless the ability to adjust to the ball is completely hindered by the low agility. I've always wanted a high speed/high catching guy, like take speed up through the first 40 levels, then do nothing but catching for the remaining ones.

My WR is sitting on 85 speed and 64 agility right now, planning to take agility to 68 minimum then possibly take catching up to 70+. I just think the low agility might be a huge problem long term, but I don't really have a way to confirm it

Hmm. If you are going for the elite speedster and that is 85 natural speed, then ask yourself how much you want to invest in FS. You either need high agility or FS. If you take 68 agility and 10 FS you should be fine. Low agility and low first step will be an issue.

yeah, but i'm not sure what would be lower agility. 68 seems basic to me, 73 seems good. less than 68 doesn't seem like enough at all. but, i almost feel like 10 FS is necessary regardless

I'm starting to think that as well.
