Could someone help me? I am wondering why my receiver is posting 3-4 drops a game:

Any help would be appreciated.

It helps to have vision soft-capped, I think you should refocus your EQ into speed, and make sure catching is softcapped naturally. Jumping might also help.

I'm guessing the drops are "knocked loose" in which case carrying would help. Though in all honesty, I'd suggest you train carrying/something while getting speed/agi/ and catching all to the 68 cap naturally...

His build is open... And there was a vision study back in the day to see if it helped prevent drops. No evidence was found of a correlation between vision and avoiding drops....

Really? Hm, I could have sworn...oh well.
My bad, carrying then!

I believe vision helps with making catches in stride. Don't take my word for it, though.

My WR was the same way. Increase confindence and jumping bro. Trust me. My previous 3 games I had 0 drops.

Your strength is horrendous. I would train Power Running Drills (Strength/Carrying) for awhile.

I think too many people underestimate the need for a little balance in WR builds. Track stars don't just go out and run, they train strength as well... why would it be any different here?

Thanks for the help fellas.

None of my drops are actually "knocked loose," unless it won't say it. They are normally just wide open drops. I don't have problem creating any separation.

There goes my suggestion of carrying. But I'm sure it couldn't hurt.

In that case, your WR is young so I really suggest eventually 68-capping spd agi and catching, and eventually the problem will work itself out. I've never seen a 50 catching player get4 drops in a game... *shrugs* Feel free to 68 cap catching first if u want.

Hmm, another 3 drops. So weird. I guess I'll keep working to 68-cap the spd/agi/catch and see what happens as I progress.

Strange. Could be just bad luck.

1st scrimmage : QB is 28-38 with 9 drops by WR
2nd scrimmage : QB is 28-49 with 13 drops

Our team is also a 21 cap Casual team and I think we've only had 5 drops in our 2 games and our QBs were 49-65. I did notice that our QBs have better passing bars, so maybe the drops are a result of poor throws, which doesn't sound right as they are completing a majority of their passes.

I think your build is fine.

Alright. I'll just keep going in my general direction. Thanks for all the input, fellas.

By any chance is your QB throwing bullets?
