Any thoughts on these for a blitzing ROLB?

Pass Rusher obviously, but what next:

Fearsome, Heavyweight, Jump the Snap, Clutch, attribs?

Power tackler might help you force some fumbles on the QB and whenever you tackle a rush to the left.
Clutch-Could be good I guess if someone can prove it works. You would be blitzing the most on 3rd and long I assume so this would trigger a lot.
Red Zone Freak- Might be helpful around the 20 yrd line. Might not be though if they start running a lot in the red zone.

Fearsome- kind of unknown and might make the QB throw before you can sack him? Hurries get caught most of the time.
Heavyweight- How many times are you going to be able to knock over the OT? I guess it might help if the HB is the only one you encounter no your way to the QB.
Jump the Snap- You should have pretty high vision anyway so this would only cause you to jump offsides and not help much.

Heavyweight is not necessary.

I am going Clutch right now with my pass rushing ROLB after getting 10 in pass rusher and am happy with it.
I am a 3rd down blitzing beast!

VAs? Pass rushing?!?!? Hah. I honestly don't think they belong in the same sentence. That being said, the only one I have actually seen sort of work is Pass Rusher. That one, however, is rendered useless if your DC decides not to send you on 3rd/4th down.

=D

My understand of heavyweight is that it's a +2% bonus to knocking down a blocker when breaking a block, modifying your original chance to pancake a lineman (based mostly on a strength roll). I don't believe it is a 2% chance to knock down a lineman, period.

Since a blitzing OLB utilizes speed over strength, he won't be pancaking many lineman. Thus, heavyweight would probably not be that useful.

The only pass rushing VA I roll with on Denver is pass rusher. Everything else is a choice of the linebacker. You might want to force more fumbles, shore up your tackling, boost an attribute, get clutch, or other options. It's really an agent's call.

This is so important for LBs considering the Pass Rusher VA. Lots of the time on 3rd downs, an ROLB isn't even on the field for the passing play, let alone blitzing. Don't bother if you're not getting many hurries/sacks already too, since it won't help make you useful if you're not yet since most LOTs probably have Pass Blocker to match it. Unless they're bad or something.

anyone ever try red zone freak? sounds like it works on ALL downs inside the 20 unlike clutch. Bend but don't break possibly? may be insteresting to see if a whole D had that if bend but don't brak would prove out.

Makes sense I guess.
But you could still get a bonus to pass rushing from things like:
Clutch, Red Zone Freak, Goal Line Stand, and Jump the Snap (if it applies to LBs)
They're just situational except for clutch.

Jump The Snap doesn't apply to LBs. You have to be lined up on the line of scrimmage for it to trigger.

RZF, GLS are too infrequent to make good investments for an every-down blitzing LB, IMO.

Clutch is still way too vague, but it's probably worth it (I've heard rumors that it increases the chance for SAs/VAs to activate).

Read the VA. If you aren't on the defensive line, it gives no bonus.
