I'm at LDE and our RDE is literally so good at pass rushing I'm going to move toward run protection. I have two pieces of break through ready, but the best I'm able to do with equip will be 90 strength 100 agility. The reason is, I have a lot of agility tied up in my AEQ and custom.

I fear this is too weak to make an impact, and maybe I'd just be better off staying with 75 strength 115 agility?

My speed is also 75, if this matters.

What do you guys think??? With level 48 upgrades coming up with boosts, I'm looking to make my equipment decision this off season and stick to it.

Worst case I'd consider ditching my break through AEQ to get back on track with strength, I could get as high as 110 strength, 75 speed, 80 agility, but then I'd be out my break through pieces which I was growing very fond of.

You could go 80/110 and be just as, if not more effective in both phases of the game.

Kayoh's saying to bring spd up to 80 I believe, if that's the case I agree with him.

I could do 80/80/105, too, yeah.

Personally I would pay more attention to leaving agility over 100 and making speed as close to 90+ as possible. 75 str should be good for a D.E.

Maybe go 75/90/100

You think speed would be more beneficial for my LDE than strength? He is getting shoved out of running plays as if he doesn't even exist when I go with 73 str 75 spd 112 agi. Basically no tackles against legit opponents, ever.

I am in the minority here, I know - but my DE with 101 str does NOT get pushed around, even when doubleteamed.
He does still get his sacks and huries becuase he goes through the blocker, and does not waste time going around...

Overall - I agree agility is better to have high - but strength should never be discounted - and who is to say a 90 str and 90 agility guy won't do well...

My next DE - I think I will try for that combination...

I'm doing a high end str DE right now.

Am I the only one who thinks that his strength and agility numbers should be switched? A lot of the best LDEs I've seen have higher strength than agility and perform really well, and I know some of the best agents build them that way. I'm sure your high agility would work, but I like higher strength personally.

actually the best D.E's I have seen have 120 agility. Plus they might not be happy if you're giving out their build secrets.

I GM like 12 teams that were/are Pro level, so I don't think you know who I'm talking about so no one cares. And IMO the DE needs more strength to stand up against the RT. A well-built OT has 100-110 strength, so it you have like 80 strength your ass will get pancaked all day.
