I do a lot of unique things for league play, one is team levels, matchups which is always fun and other stuff. Anyways this is the East Roster sizes so far, West will be done shortly. Once I program the team IDs in it only takes a minute or so.

Tokyo already expressed in the off-season he didn't want to go Pro because he wasn't going to be fielding a full/active team. Wish Bort would have implemented a "do you want to get promoted" option to avoid this since it's obvious there's a handful of teams that wanted in, and some that didn't.

Season hasnt started yet, maybe Darkus can get Bort to switch that team with a more competitive one.

Thanks, guzz. I've said just that several times today, and folks either ignore it or you get the remark about whining.
Some owners/teams wanted to be here to be among the "elite". Others just want to have fun with the sim.
Each has their place in GLB.
Levels of enthuiasm vary, and I agree that the owners should have been given a chance to opt out just like the World Pro League guys did.

Agreed and I think AB is just speaking in general for all teams. I know we're glad to be in Gold for the solid competition. We're not trying to be the elite of the elite, but we're no push over's either. But some teams definitely are here more for fun then for competition and should be given the choice as to where they are placed. Not everyone wants to take all the time that it will probably take to be successful in gold, which is fine, to each their own thus why giving an option is best idea.

I don't mind, I face the best teams each season anyways through our gazillion scrimmages we do. Now I have a better plan on what to do with my scrimmage money.

Yeah, was thinking how much money this league would save you LE and then I thought that Bort may have dropped a bit of clanger costing himself a fair bit in scrimmage FPs. This will be a one season thing if you're not careful!!

Yeah, I was gonna buy a 450 just for scrimmages but now I'm just gonna use the free flex and be fine with 6 scrimmages

That's true, you guys are pretty scrimmage happy, same with most of the others. HB(Hamilton Owner) isn't real big into them so we don't do them which is fine by me now that this league is around. ^^;

SHHH lets keep this "money saved" thing underwraps or the world league just might not "work out"! Although giving some teams the option wouldnt be so great... I mean giving the league winners the option to opt out might end up with another pushover league because of to many teams scared to hop on. But the league 24-25 teams didnt have much competition... and what if league 25's runner up would of been selected by random ^_^ cpu team anyway so in that case a option would of been good for teams in the leagues with no real teams now they are slammed in a league after a season of not having to even look at the opponent to know they were going to win they are just out of a season of messing around with updates... I think there could of been a better way to get teams... but after this season it will work itself out I have to believe. Teams that dont belong will be out some will be close and have to fight to get back here and if you dont want in... well then you will just have to avoid winning league titles in silver .

Hippies will be 55 man by the end of the offseason. We don't stress too much on the ST Centers being level 2 by game 1, thier builds are easily obtainable by about level 8 or so.
