Alright fellas what advice would you give to me, ive been in the league for a year now, and have just been offered a ST coordinator position. This maybe a good beginning to learning how to be a DC and OC which is good so i was wondering if u guys have any pointers on stuff u wish u were told when u first started out?

Speed kills is something that will always be true on ST.


Speed, tackling and strength for coverage units.
Speed, strength and blocking for return units.

^Very general statement, but for the most part, it will get you started.

thanks guys i had a general view of what i thought would be important but im sure its one of those things you need to just do to really know what ur doing.

things change if your in peewee though. cuz in peewee punts don't go more than 20 yards anyway lol so I like to make all my return coverage ppl offensive linemen... and I make them myself. It's cheap and it wins ballgames.
