I already have a +2 STR +1 Superior Vision, but I just rolled a +2 Speed +2% Avoid Fake. Thoughts?

IMO it's not a very good additional piece. Once you upgrade your SV AEQ you can very easily get 10+ SV, which will you give you a significant bonus to avoiding fakes. The additional avoid fake bonus seems like overkill to me, you'd get more benefit from another +SA piece.

Good piece, especially since it comes with +2 speed.
b.t.w.: Don't think 10 Super Vision and 70+ vision will take care of fakes. Your guy will get faked out just as easy as others by RBs - Super Vision and vision only help with Head Fake / Pump Fake before the ball is thrown. But maybe a avoid fake chance might help?

Where does the info about SV helping only before the ball is thrown come from? My understanding was that SV helps with head fakes, pump fakes and jukes regardless of the situation. FWIW I had an FS last season with 70+ vision and 11 SV and he very rarely got faked, this was in USA pro so he was up against some good builds.
The +2 speed is nice but personally if I had the BT for a second piece I'd keep shopping for closing speed or maybe swat ball.

My FS playing in USA pro too (#1 FS in conference). Barely ever got faked - unless he was up to tackling a well build elusive RB.
Check your games too - you'll see the same. The defender does great - unless it matters.

My experience was that my FS got faked out noticeably less than LBs and secondaries with less SV, he got burnt occasionally but when you're up against elite RBs that's going to happen no matter how good your build is.
What threw me is that the SV description mentions a bonus to resisting jukes, I thought juke only activates when the player's carrying the ball.

Figured I would add in here instead of creating a new thread. Have a lvl 36 fs, currently have an upgraded piece of cleats which are +4 speed +3 Closing speed, and an upgraded glove which is +5 speed +3 Superior Vision. In an AEQ roll, I can choose from a cleat +2 vision +1 swat ball, or a glove which is +1 change direction, Break block 3%. Do you think either of these two are better than what I have currently.

Pretty much the best three pieces available.
