What do you think the overall utility of a blocking build TE would be in a receiving role?

Consider it at level 30 to 32 competition.
Give the TE in question strength of 93, blocking of 67, agility of 60 (adjsuted), catching of 42, vision of 35, carrying of 19, jumping of 9, and a speed of 27 (all attributes are adjusted).
all SA are in blocking tree, at 2 across the board, except pancake at 3.
VA = 4 in clutch and 3 in outside blocker.

Do you think this TE would have ANY utility as a receiver, through his ability to use strength to break tackles for YAC, or do you feel he is STRICTLY a blocking build?

I am looking for some potential "surprise" plays for use against very good opponents, so do you think It MIGHT be possible to sneak a reception or 5 toward this TE in a game, and garaner excellant YAC?

He won't be getting excellent YAC with 27 speed regardless of how many tackles he breaks. He could break 5 tackles in a play and gain three yards with that kind of speed.

A better question is why the hell do you want a blocking TE with only 27 SPD? There are screens and outside pitches where he at least needs it softcapped.

27 speed is worthless and the pathetic carrying would mean everything would be knocked loose.

I kinda felt that this player had only VERY limited utility in a receiving role, if any at all.

I was jsut interested in hearing it from others to see if my thinking was in line with most of the rest of the GLB universe.

thanks.

It's too bad Catch went ahead of Vision and Speed. You need to find a way to get more speed, hopefully not at the expense of the Agility he already has.
