I know there's no set answer for anything in GLB...what works for one doesn't for another. That said, are there general guidelines (i.e. a starting point) where the various sliders and drop-boxes should be set?

Passing Style
Bullet: Passes are thrown harder, but are harder to catch. (-100)
Lofty: Passes are thrown more slowly, but are easier to catch. (+100)

Passing Priority
Open Man: Pass early if there is an open man, regardless of distance reached. (-100)
Route Distance: Wait for routes to complete before passing. (+100)

Scramble Frequency
Almost Never
Sometimes
Often

HB/FB Dump Pass
Never: Only pass to HB/FB on plays that specifically call on them to be primary receivers.
Sometimes: Pass to the HB/FB when checking down as normal.
Often: Dump off to the HB/FB often when checking down.

Favor Long Passes
Yes
No

Throw Away Risk Threshold
Conservative: Throw the ball away quickly if everyone is somewhat covered.
Medium: Throw the ball away is everyone is well covered.
Aggressive: Throw the ball away if everyone is heavily covered.

Favorite Passing Target & Second Favorite Target

What are the Pros/Cons for each setting? Should you set favorite receivers?

It all depends on the team you're on and your OC.

You probably won't want to set a favorite receiver unless your team has only one good WR.
