What exactly happened in this nerf that is being talked about? Is it just for the way Head Fake and Juke work? I heard more vision is required... Was Spin effected?

Changelog
July 3, 2009
- Ensure DE with tunnel vision cannot get multiple speed boosts on the same tick when shedding double or triple team blocks, to avoid "teleporting" like behavior
- Ensure Head Fake and Juke abilities only allow one defender to be faked per tick

GLB is like NASCAR. Lets not wait till the end of the season to fix something lets fix it right in the middle and fuck teams and players up. I'm starting to really get pissed about this mid season nerfing.

Whine whine.
If something is broken, fixing it should happen as soon as you realize it's broken.
Changes like new tactic implementations and VA/SA changes should occur during off season assuming they're simple changes and not fixes, but saying that bugs shouldn't be addressed until off season is dumb.

difference between a bug and too much success, though.

Big difference. The 'fix' is also completely un-thought out.

Mid season fixes were a terrible idea....Any good code writer can change the code and re-run an entire season in a sandbox to see what's going to happen....
Mid Season changes are pure laziness, in my opinion.

But weren't mid season changes by far the most popular vote back when Bort posted a poll and discussion a couple seasons ago?

the way bort does polls isn't a great indicator. the thing that wins often wins with like 25% or 30% of the total

By majority in other words?

that's not actually the definition of majority, but if you want to call it that, sure.
