Slow-build team next year....where no SPs will be applied until the playoffs.
And of course....you can slow build/cap-build as it suits you. No build nazi's on the team.

Custom equipment and boosting is always helpful...but never required.

I have no doubt we'd still make the playoffs, but we likely wouldn't go 16-0 again.

The only goal would be a playoff spot with eyes on the championship....beyond that, the games would be meaningless.

The offensive and defensive AI's are mature enough to ensure a playoffs spot...and not need much tweaking during the season.

Cap Building works way better, much better idea IMO
