i feel like when it comes to LBs and stats its more about the Defensive AI than it is "he found the perfect build!"

Well in the pro leagues yea because nobody created in season 1 has a "perfect" build. However he does have a good build or the AI wouldn't matter anyway. It's clear he has good speed and agility, decent strength, enough vision, and even some SAs.

Both B-Sexay and Darren McFadden are correct. It's a combination of both factors.
