Topic, any thoughts? I'm thinking I should sell my Big Sack (lol) to use the Blitz piece. Is Blitz a flat bonus that activities right time a player is pass rushing? The agility boost I get could wash the break block bonus I get from the other piece.

My first thought is YES...Blitz is ok for a DE...My second is you should probably just retire him..By the time you can get him up...To where he's even half decent..Decline will hit, and he'll just go downhill from there..I would start a fresh DE who you boost and what not...

And my third though is yes.....Take the blitz piece...But keep looking for stuff with first step, shed block, tunnel vision.

I'm starting to have a downer for the Blitz piece game by game. One of my DE has a +3 Blitz and his production is minimal compared to another similar level with SA increases in FS or TV.

My DE is succeeding with two Blitz pieces (+7 right now), but I would agree that just one piece isn't likely to do much.

I have one blitz piece equipped and just got a second that I need to build up. I figure in the long run, I can get blitz up to 8 at level 40, 10 at 56 and also put my SPs in SB, TV. As good as the SAs are for DE, at those later levels, having a 8 or 10 blitz to complement high SB, TV, I think will make a stronger DE.

If you don't get 2 blitz pieces, I would say try to get two different pieces on the SA pass rusher tree like SB, TV and use your saved SPs on your attributes. One blitz piece is probably only decent if your level is in 20s or so.

I'm sure someone has a high level DE with 10s in blitz, SB, TV, FS. Are they dominating?

Once I get my blitz up to 8, and the rest of my DE should complement that, if he isn't excelling, I'll probably dump them for TV, SB (if I can find them)

so is there someone out there with 10 blitz on a DE and how is it working?
