What do people think a good speed for a LB is when trying to cover a HB out of the backfield. I know it depends on the speed of the HB, but what is the general opinion?

Depends on the level. for a level 40 it should be between 80-90 with agility around 70.

Too common imo
If i were to build a LB i'd go
90 Speed 80 Agility 75 tackling 75 strength
That would be a mlb though ofc

I would say around 100 speed with 68ish agility and you should be fine for the most part.

i guess agility is the next thing for me then. Another question that is kinda off topic, anyone know the in game moral stuff for lower lvl players? My LB plays in AAA and is a lvl 49, he always has a moral of about 40 in the summary section. Now that I look at it most our LB's have mid 40's moral.

If the HB has scatback VA....good luck...I would use a SS or FS.

LBs can often be a great coverage option if they have jackhammer- HBs often neglect the catching attribute too much and will have no chance holding on to the ball (if the LB can catch them)

so for my LB i have 100 speed, that is with equipment, and 73 strength, with +4 from equipment, would it be smart to sell back my equipment and rework everything to have more agility (at 62)? Or should I wait a bit and just use SP to bring it up?

I agree. Speed with equipment is fine, but a LB shouldn't sacrifice agility/strength/tackling/vision/stamina/confidence for a 100 speed. If a back is very fast, let the DC deal with it in scheme on pitches and coverage. Otherwise your just making a CB at the LB spot. If you want this, become a DC and use the nickle all the time.

CB's seem to be doing fine with 90 speed. Why should your LB have more?
