Well, the fact that you opened this means that you are at least open to the thought of improving your team, and winning a trophy. I only thought of this as a possibility last night, and truthfully am still just trying to gauge if there is going to be enough interest to get this thing going. Because there are so many uncertanties, I finally decided on using a forum to help get people at least together thinking about the common goal. The first thing we should realize, is that this is a long process, and is not going to happen over the course of a couple days. That is why I got this started as soon as possible. We have 22 days from today to figure out exactly how the process will work itself out.. So, I will work my best into answering any questions you may have. This is what I information I have so far:
The Problem:
With all the elite talent spread out among hundreds of teams, it can be difficult for teams like us to be as competitive as some of the other ones who have grown together and built together for many seasons.
What I am proposing:
A team merge of some sort, where each owner takes its best agents and some of the best players from the team in order to create a super team. Each player/owner/agent will have equal share in the team, and WHEN we win, each of us will get a trophy to prove it. From the last person that is added to the GM list to the owner itself, we are all equals, and it is all our team. I cannot stress that point enough because I know that many people are going to be skeptical of giving up their team to join up with another one, and that is perfectly fine. BUT, I promise you, the rewards for doing so will be great. If we can take the best players and agents from each of our teams, that definitely puts us ahead of the rest. Don't you think?
The Process:
Right now we are simply focused on finding out how much interest is actually out there for this type of project. This is the first time I have seen anything like this even try to take place, so If this is actually going to happen, we are going to need people to join up with this. So if there are any agents you know that are struggling with the same problems we have, post in the invite thread their name, and get them in here so we can start talking.
Now. I don’t expect you to come right in and sacrifice your team and everything you worked for without any planning, so hopefully this has at least sparked enough interest in you to join up with the forum. If you do join, it will allow all of us to get comfortable with each other and we see if this plan can actually take place.
