artic tigers (2-6) vs. FootballForum Fighting Danes (6-2)
The Tigers have connected for 14 points in each of the last 3 games, each time resulting in loss. Should Tony Dungy be able to acquire Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne an upset could be in the cards. If unable bring in the dynamic duo artic will continue in their attempt to run the RB's ragged. Last week against the Mercs, artic rushed only 16 times for 41 yds, but ALSO passed 16 times to the RB's while the wr's only had 7 catches on the day. The Danes on the other hand rebounded from the Wales defeat to take out their anger on Team Perkis. However if you look closer at the stat sheet Perkis was up to the task and gave all they had to the Danes. In the end Happy Feet Anderson and Per Gonzalez proved to be too much. Who in addition to per Gonzales will step up vs the Tigers? artic has struggled this season on kick coverages and this is the worst possible team to face with issues in the coverage. Per Gonzalez will bring a smile to many a WEPL members in this matchup, as he almost single handedly defeats the artic Tigers.
Wheres Waldo?====>> Si is nowhere to be found as the artic Tigers fall yet again.
Team Perkis (3-4-1) vs. Paris Penguins (2-6)
Team Percocet comes in highly in need of some painkillers the way the season had played out to this point. However all is not lost. Just one game out of .500 and with the Danes, Bonn and the Bolts in their rear view mirror this team can find a way into postseason play if they play their cards right. They have a few weapons at RB... they can run down your throat with Word Dog and Powers or if you're not paying attention slip Jow Little into the flat and watch him scamper for an 80 yd score as he did vs the Danes a week ago. As go the RB's, so goes Perkis. Paris with the worse record comes in as the possible favorite. Close calls vs Grazz, and The Danes and one would think they can handle Team Perkis. They have a workhorse of a back that has over 100 carries and also have 59 receptions on the season. Their leading receiver is actually their FB. Loom for Paris to dink and dunk their way down the field in an effort to keep those Perkis Rb's off the field.
Penguins by 10
West Wales Warriors (7-1) vs. Graz Grizzlies (5-3)
Wales are starting to REALLY make a name for themselves. After shutting out the Penguins they're moving onto a more formidable foe in the Grizzlies. The Warriors will still look to find the JJ Jacobsen who ranks 6th in receiving yards in WEPL and continue to rely on their superstar coordinator sarcastic sleuth. The Grazz are still a formidable opponent to be sure but are starting to look like they're falling slightly behind the upstart Warriors and the (insert superlative here) Dynamo for supremacy in Alpha. In Graz' favor is the fact they have played a very tough schedule. Never mind that their 3 losses may very well be the teams they have to go through come playoff time. Of the remaining schedule they look to be in a great position to reel off some victories and get themselves in contention for a home playoff game. Grazz will have a tough time trying to corral the Wales dynamic passing attack. If they're to have a chance Grazz has to convert more off their hurries to sacks to put Wales in much more difficult conversion situations.
West Wales proves to be too much for the Graz secondary as they continue their winning ways. Wales 43 - Grizz 23
South Riding Stingrays (3-5) vs. Paris Dream Bolts (7-1)
here's a shocker...NOT! Stingrays fall again in an ugly loss.
Paris +40
Turin THUNDER (2-5-1) vs. Portland Rage (0-8)
After the thwarted comeback by Portland vs the Greenwood Alley Cat. the Rage again look to bounce back and avoid a winless season. The last few games have seen the Portland offense get off to rough starts but this looks to change as QB Troy Tracy has guaranteed a victory. "I know we may be a little outmanned by when you look out there see Billy Kirk, Ricky Christian, and all these weapons and you see all the things we do in practice, I know it's just a matter of time before we explode in a big way."
The Thunder will look to get back on track but can't afford to look forward and past the Rage with a game vs the Bonn looming. If they can stay focused on the task at hand they have a punchers chance. If they come in with a half hearted effort this could be the huge day portland fans have been waiting for all season.
Turin has just enough to beat the now struggling Portland Rage. Turin 279 - Portland 0
Paris Philharmonic (4-4) vs. Belfast Commandos (1-7)
Belfast, I'm too tired and you guys made me look bad not winning the upset last week. I hope Paris kicks ur ass now...lol
Paris, I have no clue what to expect from you guys. One week you look good another you look horrid. I hope you lose too . lol
Thats the extent of my analysis.
In a game I'm too tired to look at, I predict a tie.

Hattgenstein Volunteers (2-6) vs. E-City Mercenaries (2-6)
One of the most eerie and bizarre happenings of the season was the sudden change in Hatt.'s owner Jaydemo from a down and out, glass is half empty kinda guy to the upbeat owner who guaranteed a victory over the Dynamo. On the flip side of that Mavoo the once upbeat and competitive owner of Portland now appears down and out and quite the killjoy. Is it any coincidence that Jaydemp also did the WEPL newspaper and quit it this season, whilst Mavooo suddenly starts the Alpha write-ups for this season...hmmmm. Anyways back to the game. The Vols will try and bounce back from an embarrassing yet expected annihilation at the hands of the Bolts. Though lopsided on the scoreboard the Vols found some magic in the legs of Thierno Dia who looked impressive in the defeat averaging 7.8 a carry. The two Qb system was less than impressive however the Paris defense may have had alot to do with that as well. Hattgenstein will have to carry the rushing momentum into a game vs the E-city defense that is near the bottom of the WEPL totem pole in rushing defense. E-city who has played a little better then their record would indicate broke a 5 game losing skid when the bested artic by 5 points a week ago. The Mercs also boast a talented back in Duncan Idaho and will look to set the tone with a power rushing attack. Whichever team can get the running game going will most likely prevail. This is especially important for the Vols who if forced to pass have been prone to throwing interceptions.

Greenwood Alley Cat (7-1) vs. Bonn Dynamo (8-0)
Are the Greenwood Alley Cat really contenders or pretenders in this Alpha race? Even in a loss we still may not have the answer as Bonn has dismantled every Alpha challenger thus far. Greenwood is riding high but yet as many of the naysayers have pointed out they haven't played anybody. The Alley Cat's scratched and clawed their way to a victory over the Portland Rage despite a valiant effort to comeback by the Rage, said owner Mavoo of Portland. "I had hoped the big heart and second wind would kick in when we started the 4th qaurter but the comeback never materialized..." As impressive as Greenwoods effort was to hold off the 2nd half charge of the Rage, the Bonn were equally if not more impressive in the destruction of the Stingrays. The Bonn managed to drop 96 points on the rays despite trying NOT to run up the score. All this despite the recent sexual harassment suit filed against Mookie Charles by teammate Sven Shiner. What some are calling a cultural misunderstanding other are calling a flat out assault. An undisclosed informant who wishes to remains anonymous states that in the police report Mookie Charles states he invited Sven Shiner to his high rise condo where he had promised to "toss Svens Salad" Sven not fully understanding the implications arrived at Mookies condo shortly after 8 PM with a salad shooter and vegetables in tow. The events that led to the salad shooter having to be removed from an undisclosed orifice from Svens person is also unknown. Police and Bonn officials have declined comment. Should Sven be able to play, the Bonn may coast to yet another victory. If he does play, will the injury affect his running and will Greenwood be able to capitalize? With all the circumstances surrounding this match of Alpha powers and the uncertainty of Svens condition, this game is just too tough to call.
