Week 17 - Inter-Conference Scrimmages


Alpha Wins - 3
A12 vs Z16 55pts (13.75pts per rank)
A11 vs Z14 14pts (3.5pts per rank)
A9 vs Z9 20pts (even but big Alpha win, I guess the Fanatix wanted to prove something there, that there are for certain 9 teams in Alpha. However, Fanatix did have +65/+38/+33 on chemistry, still a solid win, Dubai is pretty good when their chemistry isnt bad)

Zeta Wins - 5
A16 vs Z11 50pts (10pts per rank)
A10 vs Z12 23pts (11.5pts per rank AND lower rank)
A15 vs Z15 13pts (even game, but shocking Zeta win)
A13 vs Z10 47pts (15.67pts per rank AND Moscow had -69/-73/-73 LESS chemistry)
A14 vs Z13 52pts (52pts per rank)

So what did the inter-conference tell us? The same thing as the data has for the entire season Z14, Z15 and Z16 are bad (notice however that the Tec-9's could only beat Kosovo by 14pts despite how bad they are). The biggest two surprises from the scrimmages were the HUGE beating that Moscow put on Gilwice, despite having insanely lower chemistry and then the NFL Fanatix beating Dubai .. which does make sense considering chemistry, but it proves that they are competitive to me, they won a game they should have. Also, I had assumed that a team who was coached by the mighty GM Oso could beat a team who had the following points scored in Zeta: For - 133 Against - 634, I guess not.

Otherwise the data continues to support my statement that the middle/bottom of Zeta will beat the middle of Alpha, badly.

I would suggest not taking scrimmage games any more seriously than you take the NFL pre-season. It's a time for experimentation and seeing how guys who don't generally see the field can work.

We did get our #3 QB and #5 WR their first career TDs, so we were pretty happy with that.

Dubai played there starters the whole way, Fanatix just finally figured out how to use all there talent. Watch out next year.

A better question, why do you have a QB#3 at all? How many positional snaps do you have at QB? Id guess on average for your team 80-90 and that isnt looking at any numbers.

Im a curious guy so I decided to look at the numbers.

81.85 snaps for your last 7 games at the QB position

You have space for 1.64 QBs to get max exp and level properly

And of course that doesnt account for the fact that the starter should probably take snaps like 70/30 with the backup, so really you have 57.3 snaps for the starter and 24.5 snaps for the backup.

You beat OUR 8 seed by 11 points, and YOUR 8 seed by 30, so you just proved in 2 games that your 8 seed is significantly weaker than ours. Thanks for the further validation of what I have been saying.

Shutouts of YOUR conference who clearly gets beat on by every Zeta team worth anything doesnt impress me much.

And as for yall getting to the League CCG, if you do, you will get beat by whoever is there, because if there were good enough to beat us, they certainly are good enough to beat yall.

Covering a L13 WR doesnt scare anyone, maybe people in Alpha might have had a problem with you, but the lowest DB on my team is L16, but you know if you couldnt get more than 2 receptions against the mighty team that you are bragging about blowing out 30-0 .. what do you think you will do against a good team?
