The organizers of the GLB Pro World Tournament announce the 3rd Annual PWT Bracket Challenge!

What can I win?

The agent with the most total points at the end of the Tournament (and tiebreaker if necessary) will receive a 2000 flex prize ($16) via paypal or through a direct Flex transfer with the help of GLB admin as we did in season 9. The 2nd and 3rd place brackets will receive 1000 flex prizes courtesy of the PWT organizers.


When does it start?

You can start making predictions now, the bracket is set. The first scheduled Bracket game is on Saturday morning at 07:00 GLB time (7/04/09, Day 15.) You have to have your predictions made 1 hour prior to the 1st bracket game. The first game is scheduled for 07:00 GLB time on Day 15.

How do I enter & play?

Step 1.
Go to the Bracket Maker web site ( http://www.bracketmaker.com/ ) and register. All you need is an email address to do so.
○○○○○○ You must register using your GLB account name. If you are currently registered with that web site under a different name, you must PM me with your registered name on the site. This is in place to prevent multiple ballots from being filled out.

Step 2.
Once registered, go to the Pro World Tournament bracket ( http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?tid=328588 ) and click the "Predict It" link on the Tournament Bracket page.
○○○○○○ You must predict the entire tournament before the final entry deadline.

That's it.

It's just like an NCAA tournament pool that we've all played at work. Points are awarded 1 point for each correctly predicted 1st round game, 2 points for 2nd round, 4 points for 3rd round, and so on. You will have to fill out the 1st round, click enter, and then you can fill out the 2nd round, click enter, 3rd round, etc.
○○○○○○ You must also fill out a final score prediction for the Championship game. This will be used as a tie-breaker should we have a tie.

..... Tie-breaker breakdown:
.......... 1.) Predicted the correct winner of the tournament
.......... 2.) Total number of games correctly predicted
.......... 3.) Closest to Championship game point differential
.......... 4.) Closest to Championship game total points
.......... 5.) If still necessary, prize will be split amongst tied participants


How do I learn about the teams?

All the teams are Pro League teams and their league identification is listed on the bracket web site (OPL=Oceania, SAPL=South America, etc.). You can find the teams through the League's link http://goallineblitz.com/game/leagues.pl
