1 Batdambang Killer Koalas 6-0
BKK has a big game against the Warlords this week. Could they be the 4th #1 team to lose in this young season? Last week: 1

2 Manila Warlords 5-1
Warlords take out their 2nd straight undefeated team. This week they will be gunning for their 3rd. Last week: 3

3 Sumatra Sting 5-1
Had no idea that yellowjacket nests were flame proof. Last week: 5

4 Bangkok Tweetys 5-1
Tweetys dominate the Battle for Bangkok. Last week: 5

5 Komodo Dragon 5-1
Komodo learned the hard way that Warlords don't play. They win. Last week: 2

6 Louisiana Screaming Pelicans 4-2
You can't keep screaming pelicans grounded like you can dirty penguins. Last week: 7

7 Singapore Flames 4-2
Flames burnout in Sumatra. Last week: 3

8 Buffalo Rampage 5-1
Rampage makes it look easy (that's partially because their schedule so far is easy. Last week: 8

9 Three Kingdom Warriors 4-2
3KW pull off the shocker. Last week: 9

10 Bangkok Lightning 2-4
The Lightning are the Jets to the Tweetys' Giants. The Clippers to their Lakers. The Tweetys are Alec Baldwin and the Lightning are any of the other Baldwin brothers. The Tweetys are The Dark Knight, and the Lightning are Batman and Robin. Last week: 10

11 West Indies Warriors 2-4
Warriors win 2 straight. Good for them. Last week: 13

12 Chiang Mai Gangsters 1-5
Despite what they may say, Chiang Mai are not Real Muthaphuckin Gs. Last week: 11

13 Hong Kong Highlanders 0-6
More interesting than the Highlanders: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJOZp2ZftCw Last week: 12

14 Tokyo Hellfighters 0-6
Yawn. Last week: 14

15 Laos King Pongers 0-6
Pongers do nothing. Last week: 15

First, thanks for another great write-up. I personally find that these enhance my overall experience of GLB greatly, and as a former contributor myself, I appreciate the work that goes into it.

I do think you are wrong at the #6 spot. LSP has got a fantastic squad, and has pretty much owned Garuda conference since their arrival. A little respect please? They also got better at several positions this offseaon, not the least picking up Gargus' former Red Bull linemen. They also have probably the best TE in SEA, with very few others even in the running. I don't really care what the records say, it's insulting to say this team is not deserving of AT LEAST a home playoff spot.

That said, they've lost 2 games... and the past never carries the weight of the present (or sometimes the future, unfortunately) but at least put them at #4...

Also, Dirty Penguiins are not easily grounded. They are making some noise in AAA#1, and I would not be the least bit surprised to see them flying back in Pro for S11. Those guys also enjoy the talents of Freddie Matsukado, who I'd take over most of the big name WR's playing in SEAPL currently.

So keep winning and you guys can have your ranks back, its simple really.

Its not what have you done, its what have you done lately.

They picked up another linemen from another former SEA team whose owner is pretty active here

Tbh, I want to rank us higher, but I just have a hard time ranking us ahead of a bunch of solid 5-1 teams who have beaten good opponents. Had we not lost to 3KW, I'd have us as #2 right now.

And the Penguin reference is actually a throwback to when I used to the AAA1 rankings. Not sure if anyone remembers that or got that reference (for the rest of that season PDP was known as the flightless birds).

So, which MJ zipper-jacket did everyone wear back in the day, the red one or the black one?

I rocked the black one, lol...

the Rampage is entering the meat & potatoes portion of their schedule.

as of now they havent beaten anyone that would warrent havig them ranked higher.

but as the season unfolds they should start to rise up thru the rankings as they beat teams in the top half of the conference...
