Yeah, that confused me. I'm a member of the Florida LightningBolts and we've only been beat by the Lions and Bombers; two teams ahead of us in the standings. Somehow they are ranked far lower than us in this ranking.

Then you're going to love this won. Bellevue Blitz, 8 seed out of the West is ranked 141 out of 509 on this list.

I really need to read the long discertation about this formula of his.

A lot of weight is put into scoring and defense, its pure statistical algorithms. Had we been blown out in any of our two losses we would have been a much lower compared to them both, but both games we lost were almost a statistical tie, but our won games were usually relative blowouts in both score and statistics.

Our win loss was virtually the same, with Ludlow; .5 and within one of the Bombers. Badlands ranked much higher than Birmingham and had three losses but blew out a lot of people, while getting dominated statistically against the Bombers. I think Stick gave too much weight to overall statistics and not enough to win loss.

Its a measure of the best teams statistically not an actual measure of the merit of each team... it seems to be decently accurate though. Im sure the playoffs will blow it all to hell but you have to be impressed.
