how is the stiff arm working out for you? I would get rid it. IMO
Of course if you are building a bruiser then 38 strength isnt going to cut it.

The stiff arm just came with a nice piece of +speed AEQ. Haven't seen it do much, though I have broken a few tackles here and there. Once I hit lvl40, I may take a peek and see if I can find some tighter pieces of AEQ before upgrading the ones I currently have (one is +speed/+stiff arm; the other is +vision/+catch ball%).

Overall, I'm kinda at an impasse as to which direction I should be going -- one possibility was (as you mentioned) to buff up strength, etc... but I have no idea if that's even viable, or if I'm just better off pumping the speedster SAs. Thoughts?

You are at that point in your WRs career where you have to make a decision. That decision is what kind of WR you want to be. Obviously you cant be everything to everyone. The math just doesn't allow that in the game, therefore you have to pick. Choices are Balanced, Speed, elusive, blocking, or Possession.

Each type requires that you focus on different Atts. All are pretty obvious of which Atts you have to focus on for each. Personally I think Balanced receivers are the best. You can move around more during your career and dont have to rely on the OC to play you the right way in the AI.

So far for balanced I have been working speed and agility in the 70s evenly. Catching should get to about 60 and eventually 68 lvl 50s. Carry in the 50s strength in the 30s vision to 60 eventually. Jumping to 50s. This is just an example of my build. The key is to figure your build out now and get all SA, Adv EQ and VAs in very specific things that compliment that build type. So if you arent going to be a strong WR then lose the stiff arm. If you arent going to be a possession guy lose the catching %.
