NT
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1405455

Currently have strength at 73.37 (4th cap)

-have 5 SPs, saving for next ability cap
-question is, what should I cap next:

I know a lot of peeps would say agility and it would be hard to dispute this, but I was thinking at level 14 I can cap tackling(using BTs). I know the general consensus is to have str/agility as the main attributes for any/most inside guys. I was thinking of going hard into tackling, taking it to 4th cap also, then bring agility and speed to 60ish. Is this line of thinking or just plain silly. My reasoning is that I see this NT as a run stuffer/hard hitter that would compliment my DT idea nicely (see below).

I know FS isn't the ideal AE for this build, but I picked it up on my first trip to the store. It will be replaced in the future when I decide what SA route I want to take (most likely shed block).

All EQ is in strength

Thinking cap levels
74 strength
74 tackling
60 agility
60 speed
cap vision and confidence

work on SAs from here, then maybe tweek what needs it late in the build (agility/confidence)

DT

Currently agility is at 74.37 (took it to 4th cap)

-5 saved SPs for next attribute cap

Basically a pass rushing DT to offset his run stuffing buddy.

My plan:

74 agility
74/68 strength (which would be a better target?)
68 speed (is this enough?)
cap tackling, vision, confidence

Play with the SAs and tweek as per above.

Same deal with tunnel vision on this guy, would probably be better off with FS, but this was found on trip 2 shopping (not a bad find except the +1 blocking that came with it )

All EQ in agility (the strength bonus is from an endorsement)

***I know these builds would take quite a while to round out, but I am building them to be dominate for the second half of their careers. Also, I know these builds have high attribute totals (I am actually thinking 60 confidence also, not to mention stamina), but I am not a big believer in the SA trees for inside linemen (shed block is the exception, undecided on Glare [might be interesting if combined with a moral LB], break through. wall and strong base)

for your NT i did what you are thinking of doing...

I capped my tackling after strength and I think it is a great idea as I have only missed 1 tackle in his career besides his first year when he was born.... lol

It has not hindered my player at all as i still have

I'm currently training speed and stamina so that i can get his speed capped next BUT I'm kind of stuck myself on what i should do at this point....
I have 6 SP right now and im not sure if i should
throw it into strength that will take him to the 7-1 cap
throw it into agility which will cost 4 and when he levels again throw that into agility as well he will be at the 5-1 cap
or just start saving them so i can cap his speed next..........

For the NT, I think tackling next is fine, but stop at 68. Get tackling, then agility capped. Then third cap both, probably tackling first, in whatever order. Don't take tackling to the fourth cap, that's 5 extra levels and it's kind of a waste. If you want to put emphasis on tackling abilities more than 68 in the attribute, use other avenues. Focus your AEQ and VAs on it. It will get high enough on it's own from level gains. It takes about 13 levels to get an attribute to the third cap (after the first one, which is 10-11).

For the DT, 68 speed will not be enough, if you do it after strength. You will want to go ahead and get it to 74. You will be getting level gains in strength and agility but since speed got the late start, it won't get high enough on it's own.

As for joey, imo, it's a complete and utter waste to cap tackling so early and then let it get all the way to the second cap from level gains. Second cap it asap while training speed/stamina, then train vision up while capping speed.

your DT is looking real good as well

I personally would start capping my strength and tackling so you can get the most out of your natural leveling

train your strength and tackling until your strength gets to about 88% then stop and start putting your SP into it, this way when you cap your strength you can get a free point after you cap it
then train tackling and speed until the same above occurs
and train speed and stamina together............

you should be able to get your strength and tackling done before level 20 then you can focus on your speed until it is capped maybe around 24, then you can start double capping either your strength or speed while you just train stamina, vision, confidence.....

i guess i just figured that at level 50 his tackling will be at 68 natural and I was fine with not spending anymore on it that's why i just let it go.....

where you stop depends completely on where you want tackling later in your career. taking it all the way to 68 is gonna leave you with around 75 tackling by the time you're in your late 40s
