1. Monmouth Evil Monkeys V 13. Parma Burglars. The Monkeys looked solid in their win over the Invaders. A very effecient game by the Evil QB tandem offset a less than stellar day out of the running backs on the offensive side of the ball. The D is looking solid as ever and JJ seems to be the real deal at DE.

So how do you outgain your opponent by 170 yards and LOSE by 39? Give up 4 special teams TD's and have two giveaways(one returned for 6) and no takeaways, that's how. Phil Phantom picked up yardage, but if you throw the ball 70 times your bound to complete some. Parma's problem was that he only completed 37% of those 70 throws. Parma has some big issues they need to fix ASAP or it's going to be another long season season.

Evil Monkeys win 45-17

2. Washington Wolfpack V 12. San Diego Lightning. The Packs came to play some dotball last time out. They crushed the Roughnecks passing game and shut down their inside running game completely. Offensively Partlow and Street were their usual amazing selves, both averaging over 7 per carry. 2 Pack lost fumbles made the final score closer than the game actually was.

The Lighting got a Pimp Slapping at the hands of the Navs. Their Pass Defense was taken apart by Lincoln and some big turnovers cost them in key spots. SDL is in big trouble right now and it they don't bounce back quickly the playoffs are going to be a real longshot.

WW wins 48-21

3. Minnesota Marauders V 9. Compton Vikings. The Marauders crushed the Hogs in every facet of the game. If MM didn't take the foot off the gas late they could have won this by 100. 8 Sacks and 5 picks by their D mixed in with holding the Hogs backs to 25 yards on 28 carries (yes that is less than one yard per attempt) was an amazing defensive effort. Julian Krist had an amazingly accurate effort and the backs had a great game across the board.

Compton was torched by the KKAR passing attack. The Rentals completed 77% of their throws for over 400 yards and 3 TDs. Offensively Tarvaris reverted to playing like his namesake and it wasn't pretty. Compton broke one big play on the ground but went pass heavy and it did not work out well.

MM wins 54-24

4. Honolulu Hurricane Warriors V 6. Ketchikan Kamper Adventure Rentals. HHW's D is just sick so far this year. 2 games played and no TD's allowed. While they have played two "noob" USA PRO teams this is still impressive. Offensively the HHW attack isn't up to speed with their D as of yet, but they are more than capable of scoring the 7 points they need to win with the way their D is playing.

Ketchikan has the super computer humming and it keeps popping out one thing-DRAVZ PASS. Pierce is on fire this season and had another huge game. 400 yards and 3 TDs on 77% throwing is a big time game at this level. Defensively KKAR hasn't been as impresive, BUT they are doing what they have to and a turnover here and there is making a difference.

HHW wins 31-28

5. San Diego Demolition V 7. Lincoln Navigators. SDD is kicking some USA PRO ass in their debut season. The cruised to their 21st straight win Thumping Parma. An amazing day by their special teams combined with a few turnovers caused made up for a less than stellar effort by their D.

The Navs kicked around SDL like a bad dog (F U PETA) and Riverboat Gambler led the way. I guess RG is still pissed I left him off the Best USA PRO players list and he is proving me wrong Big time. Defensively the Navs stopped the Lightning when they had to and added 2 takeaways to control the game.

Navs win 38-35

8. Texas Roughnecks V 16. Nashville Hounds. Holy rough scheduling Bortman. The Necks started off with the #1 team in the East and the #2 team in the west back to back. Can't really hold their 0-2 start against them. The only thing I can say about the Texas O is NEEDS MOAR TICK.

Nashville might have a chance get to USA PRO through the front door in season 11 after they get demoted.

10. West Scranton Invaders V 15. NY-CA Ground Pounders. WOW WSI with 2 regular season losses after 2 games is pretty freaking weird to see. I guess USA PRO is a tad tougher than OPL. The Invaders need a big bounce back win this week.
