Sorry for being late but here goes week Two.

1. Monmouth Evil Monkeys V 5. West Scranton Invaders. The Monkeys took on a tough Golfer team and with the help of a solid Defensive effort picked up a 13 point win. 4 Monmouth turnovers kept the game close, but the Monkeys D shut down the Alpine O and when they hung onto the ball Monmouth was able to move up and down the field. Jimmy Johnston seems to have not lost a step in his move from WEPL to USA PRO.

The Invaders got a rude welcome to USA PRO from Losing to the recently promoted Slashers. WSI's Defense looked solid but their O was unable to move the ball well and Gave it away 3 times from Ints. Still not sure why when they were down by 6 with 1:09 to go on the Washington 17 they kicked a field goal. Out of time outs at that point they basically gave up the game.

Evil Monkeys win 37-24

2. Washington Wolfpack V 7. Texas Roughnecks. The Pack played the gutted Steel so there really isn't a lot to say about them at this point. I just hope Emo Bear enjoys hanging out with a bunch of Wolves.

Damn OFG and The Pack back to back to start of season 10 is not what your looking for if you your the Roughnecks. The Standard OFG 4th quarter comeback occurred and Texas lost a shoot out. Earl and THE TICK had huge games on the ground and Meyton Panning looked solid in his Roughnecks Debut. The Texas D was torched for 622 yards though and this unit still needs some work.

WW wins 48-40

3. Minnesota Marauders V 13. Chicago Hedgehogs. The Marauders looked like one of the best teams in the game in their destruction of the Bullets. A dominating rushing attack and a Huge defensive effort led Minny to a 250 yard advantage overall. The only Blemish on the Marauders day were 2 picks and a less the quality game from Krist at QB. MJD looked like a beast.

The Hogs dropped their 9th straight game that counted in their opener Getting crushed by NAN. Turnovers killed Chicago, you can't give an explosive offense like the Naturals the ball and 5 Hogs turnovers were killers.

MM wins 51-24

4. Honolulu Hurricane Warriors V 16. Nashville Hounds. NEWS FLASH HHW has a great D. Same as every season the Hurricane Warriors Defense looks dominant. They Picked off 5 passes and only gave up 194 total yards in week 1. Offensively Stuart Wang had a solid game, but the rushing attack looked a bit off.

The Hounds used 2 big Kickoff returns TD's by former Dodger outfielder Reggie Smith to keep the game close against OTRRD, but 4 turnovers and a porous D cost them a shot at a W.

HHW wins 45-10

6. Compton Vikings V 10. Ketchikan Kamper Adventure Rentals. Compton took out the Hammer in the opener led by a solid D and an Impressive passing game. There new two headed QB rotation was turnover free (something new in Compton) and their D picked off 3 passes, returning 2 the distance for 6.

The KKAR super computer pumped out a solid offensive Gameplan and they put up 66 points in their Pro Debut. Pierce Dravz was on fire, going 40 out of 50 for 5 TDs. Defensively their bend but don't break style worked to perfection.

Compton wins 48-45

8. San Diego Demolition V 12. Parma Burglars. The Demo's O looks like it is ready for the big time. Using a balanced attack to pick up over 500 yards in a big win over Richey. Defensively they gave up a ton of yards but were able to Keep the Royals out of the endzone for the most part.

Parma was killed by turnovers in their loss to DDL. While their D was solid holding TSE's squad under 300 yards in O. They couldn't move the ball them selves and and 3 huge picks by DDL stopped any chances they had.

SDD wins 21-17

9. Lincoln Navigators V 11. San Diego Lightning. The Navs dropped a tough one to Jersey in week one. The Navs let a great 4th quarter comeback go to waste in OT and need to avoid another slow start like last season if they hope to make the playoffs.

SDL won the yardage and turnover battles, but lost the game to Indy. The Lighting's O looked great but they fell short in a comeback bid.

Coach was REALLY close. How about 5?

I think the score prediction is way off. If either of us scores nearly 50 I bet it's not a close game. I think it will be close, but less scoring.
