My predictions
Alpha: Bangkok, New England, Taiwan, Phuket (as much it hurts me to say)
Zeta: Bangkok, Kentucky, Haiphong, Aussie

Somehow it seems cruel that all the lesser teams are against the top teams... But oh well it should be fun : )

Kind of interesting games for some of them in what were close first round games:

New England vs. Macau - Lost by just 1 point last time but I think New England will have this game pretty solidly.

Kentucky vs. Guangzhou - Lost by just 2 points last time but similarly to the NE game, I expect Kentucky to come out on top by a pretty solid margin.

Haiphong vs. Saigon - Lost by just 5 points last time, it was early in the year though (week 1) and so it's tough to gauge much by a game that early in the year.

Yeah you can't judge anything at all from a week 1 game.

I'm eager for a shot at redemption against the Hitmen. Hopefully we can establish our running game early and keep theirs out of it.

BTW, the score in the first post for the Haiphong game is wrong. It was 28-23.

Strangely enough, there seems to be a pretty clear top 4 in both leagues, so the first round likely won't be the scene of any upsets. However, it is definitely possible that some occur. Saigon has a great team, and we don't expect it to be an easy game by any means.

Thanks. I'm trying to remain optimistic, but I've been looking at your team's rushing defense over the past few games and it's been stellar to say the least. I don't want to go into an all-out passing attack, but we have to get some consistency in our rushing game if we want to beat you guys. Hopefully it will be another exciting game at least.

Tweetys was 8th seed in AAA last year, so everything can happen in play off.

^^ Right. Beach Bums are a good team that came on strong late. They scored on much on the Tweetys as anybody (not counting the last game when coach was testing some new tactics). Their games against the Battlers and the Hitmen showed they are a strong team.

Anything can happen in the playoffs.

To be fair, you can't compare anything to last season. A lot of good teams had low seeds because they didn't join on day 1.
