My DE is pretty solid, breaks a lot of blocks, but never had any strength for me to even think of heavyweight. At level 52, he now has ~70 strength. I figure that it's not enough, but thought it'd be worth asking.

I wouldn't bother with less than 80. I don't think it will fire unless your strength is at least equal to the blocker's.

"This player is hard to block. Each level of Heavyweight gives a +2% bonus to knocking down his blocker when breaking a block."
does this mean if your chance to do it with low str is 0% then one level gives you a 2% chance? if so, then there is no minimum str... if you break blocks(highly unlikely with low str) then why not take it.
i still consider myself a noob, so what do i know, just thought i would throw this out there.

Hmm wonder if it could fire when agile DEs use Rip and Swim moves?
I don't use it although by strength is plenty high.

nope. that means if you have low strength and size against a big strong guy and you have 0% chance to knock him down, even with 600 in heavyweight, it's still 0%. if you are evenly matched and it's say 30% chance, and +30% from heavyweight, the final chance is 39%.
