I'm just wondering whether or no people think that an elusive FB could work in GLB?

I think I've built a pretty good one going his stats last season and the fact that he has a 60 Rushing Bar:

So, do you think Elusive FBs can work?

Nice build, stats arent too good though if you take away the blow outs

yea i think so. Train his blocking to around 40 and he will dominate for a speedster hb as well.

How high are you taking his speed? You can hit 80 natural agility by level 40 by just getting agility to 68 before anything else. I question why you're investing in speed so early. Although I think a fullback with 80+ natural speed, all equipment in speed and Scat Back would be a good, one hit wonder build, but is that your purpose?

With different planning, there's no reason you couldn't have 100 speed, 80 agility, 75 strength and 60 carrying at around level 40.

I'm not asking about my FB specifically, he is just an example. I'm asking if you guys think elusive FBs could work in general?

Yes . . . especially as receivers.

Aye, as a receiving threat they'd be deadly, but otherwise they'd be a liability. Really nothing more than a specialist.

It could work, but you'll never match an elusive HB... due to the lack of elusive SAs.

I think Warlock is right that due to a lack of elusive SAs, running on an elusive setting wouldn't work as well. Quick Feet and Slippery are important VAs that require that setting and elusive SAs. Combined they are a higher % to break tackle than Bruiser, but are less singularly.

However, fullbacks can obviously get a higher agility score than HBs, so I think that's something to work off of that would do well with the right combination. I've had a theory for a while that on a -50 running style setting a fullback with a high agility (110+); high strength (75); a high carrying (70+) and a decent speed (70) with Bruiser @ 15, Power Through and Quick Cut @ 10+ could do very well and may be a better running back than a similarly built HB simply because of level gains and possibly weight. It's heretical to the norm, but I'm not sure if anyone's actually tried it.

If you did build one, you would have to wait a long while because if you want to be an effective one... you should cap str, carrying, agi, and vis way before you even touch speed. Hence you being completely useless for a LONG while.

No, you don't have to. Strength is way overrated on FBs.

It could be pretty cool, more as a scatback than a true elusive, but you definitely take it in the butt by not getting natural speed gains.
