Love to know what you guys think of my first build.

Honestly dude, your skill points are way to spread out and not focused anywhere. You should even be adding anything to catching at your level. You have a bunch spent on SAs, you shouldn't spend anything on SAs until you are high 20s at least. You need to focus on getting certain attributes to their level caps before going on to another one. You can still save your build but your SS won't have a great build until you are in the 40s in level.
If you want to save the build and not retire and start over you need to get all these attributes to these caps in this order:
Speed (2nd cap)
Agility (1st cap)
Tackling (1st cap)
Strength (1st cap)
Vision (1st cap)
Speed (3rd cap)
Agility (2nd cap)
Strength (2nd cap)
Vision (2nd cap)
Speed (4th cap)
Agility (3rd cap)
Sell your piece of AEQ that is giving you BLITZ, it's pretty much worthless. Find a good piece of AEQ and focus all of your EQ on speed. Just intense train stamina/confidence instead of adding SPs into it until they are at the 1st cap. Then train jumping/catching.
That is the way I would do it from the start if I could do it all over.

Hmmm, you have decent arguements for all of your points. Thanks for taking the time.
the SA's were pretty cheap in that they each cost one SP, but you make a fair point none-the-less. I would rather not retire this player and start over, but instead I would like to see if I can correct the mistakes I have made thus far.
I don't know where the caps are so that is a bit of an unknown for me, but I am guessing it is the points when training slows down for them, for example the first cap for speed is 50(ish), yes? Anyway if I am way off please clarify.
The piece of AEQ that is giving me blitz is two pieces and the Blitz is combined with an agility bump and something else.
I have done some of my development thus far to offset the weaknesses of the players around me, but admittedly that may not have been the right approach since I am only ever with a team for one season... or at least this has been the case in the first three seasons.
Thanks again for the input.

He's actually looking good.....definitely fixable at this point. Stay away from SAs for the next 25 levels though & get his attributes up first IMO.

Thanks... for my first build it is okay I think... I was perusing the guide and I think rather than build on speed to the second cap, like Jagator said, I would use my level up SP's to increase my players vision. I think he is kind of low in that category for his position, based on the help guide. Then I will balance my SP's going forward on Speed, and Vision and a little bit of tackling. I want him to be a balanced player (not a situational player). I think for his training I will concentrate on what Jagator said and increase stamina and confidence.

Heyhey... changed my mind... used my level up to increase my stamina as the team I just joined only carries on strong safety and the GM asked me to level up my stamina as I would be playing a lot. I have just added a total of 7 to my stamina and it is now over 40 so I hope that this is sufficient to be a heavily used starter. I will now train vision and confidence on a day to day basis until vision gets to 40 and then switch over to speed and tackling until speed gets to second cap.
