He has been pretty effective. Top 5 first to seasons in sacks.

You didn't do wrong..But the build is wrong for a speed based DE. Not near enough agility.

Well the season I made him the whole de nerf thing was going on so I figured that I should soft cap strenght before agility. This may have been wrong but the results are ok.

Says the guy who has had 6 sacks in 2 seasons. What's your build like? Mine seems to be more effective.

No, you're fine. But I wouldn't put any more speed if I were you. You are better off building up the other attributes then keep stuffing up speed

For one..I didn't add skill points until the final few games this season..My team rebuilt I was in a league where we were level 1 guys against level 20 + Did you even look at my teams record that season...What was it..Like 2-14..Being blown out by 200 + ?...He's supposed to get a sack against some one 20 + levels higher..? And this past season I didn't add skill points until the end, I literally had 100 + skill points saved up...Try looking at the last few games....3 + hurries each(which is a vision thing) and at least one sack, sometimes multiple sacks...If you're going to try to be sarcastic at least do some homework..K thnx...Point being I actaully was going to help you make a decent DE but now I'm not and you can have fun messing yours up while mine succeeds.

Sounds good cap'n. It doesn't do you any good to keep 100 sp's. You lost out on all the lvl ups. Wtf am I going to do now that your won't help me make my DE decent? I guess I will just retire and go shot myself in the head. I hope your happy.

No I am done with sp's in speed forever. What do you think about EQ? I was planning on continuing to put it on speed, but maybe I should split it up with agility?

Hard for him to get sacks and hurries laying flat on his back!!! Pancaked 19 times in one game.

Don't let production fool you. My guy has almost always had very low sack production, but he was consistently on the first team battling OTs 5-6 levels higher and still getting the occasional hurry, swat, or tackle. Meanwhile, a backup at a slightly lower level and ability was cleaning up against the weaker backups on the opposing offense. Think of it like a space-eater who forces double and triple teams - the type of contribution that doesn't come through on a stat sheet. Now my guy is on the 2nd team and special teams and is getting more tackles and forced fumbles than ever while the starters (10 levels higher than my DE) are getting stuffed and aren't showing many numbers against the cream of the other team.

Unfortunately there's not a lot of flexibility in building a good d-lineman. I tried to go purely speed/agility-based, but strength just weighs in too much.

How the fuck would I know. Like I have been keeping up with your glb career. Simple? Your words really cut deep. Please just let me know what I can do to make my guy decent. How about you open your build so I can see how a real de is built. You know it makes no sense to keep 100 sp's right. But please enlighten me. I need to know.

So how much strenght? What kind of ratio? My plan is to get my agility to the 68 cap, and then probably get strenght up to 63 or 68.
