1. strength/tackling until I can 60 cap strength
2. agility/tackling until I can 68 cap strength
3. agility/tackling until I can 49 cap tackling
4. agility/Speed until I can 68 cap tackling ( I feel VERY strongly that this will be the difference maker in my build in the long run)
5. agility/Speed until I can 49 cap agility
6. Speed/Stamina until I can 68 cap agility
7. Vision/Confidence until I can 48 cap vision.
8. Speed/stamina until I can 60 cap vision
9. Speed/Stamina until I can 60 cap Speed
10. Confidence/Stamina until I can get confidence to 60
11. Stamina/Jumping Until I can 49 cap stamina
12. Jumping/Catching until the player is retired
13. Spend rest of SPs in monster hit and line general

All of his equipment will be in speed, I don't care how this player performs for the first 5 seasons, and I want him to be a powerful run stuffing MLB. Does this plan look good or should I alter it n any way?

Why? Its not a major so shouldn't it be the last thing I work on if I don't care about being competitive for a long time?

I really like your plan...I'm working on a similar one at the moment with my level 4 super slow building LB.

LB: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1420577

I know the roll doesn't look great with 9's and 10's in useless stats but I did get a 20 in strength and thats all I cared about plus my guy will be in only cap leagues so im not worried.

My plan was to train strength and cap it at 68 first while intense training Tackling and Agility. so it's pretty similar

I also had the same plan to put all my EQ into my weakness which would be speed.

No. Speed should be a top 5 priority under, strength, agility, and vision. And tacklin to 68 cap early will not be the difference maker as it is not even a top attribute for lb's untill lvl 25+.

The difference is 0.08 points per level up...... 0.25 vs. 0.33..... For me it's not enough of a disparity to hold off on speed that long.........

For your plan, I would take agility to second cap first, then probably strength....

I agree with that part. I did similar on my newest LB.

The part of your plan I don't really like is that you're stopping Speed at 49 but dumping all EQ in to it. Using EQ to make up for deficiencies rather than enhancing an already good attribute is a poor use of SPs.

By the time you cap speed, all the ball carriers you will be chasing will be 2 or 3 capped and you will be left in the dust. Looks like you're building an agile DT.

All that tackling does no good if you can't catch the ball carrier. Which you wont be able to do unless they just run power backs strait at you.

By the time my MLB is complete he will have a base speed of 61 + 30(eq) for a total of 91 for speed. IMO a run stuffing MLB will not even need this much speed

He's wrong anyway. My MLB just now first-capped speed at level 30 on a long build plan. Still, last season he had 55 tackles, 5 ffum, 11 PDs, and 3 INTs. It's amazing what 75+ agility does even at low speeds in the area a MLB plays. Sure he'd benefit from more speed, but not at the expense of his long-term development and he still plays reasonably well.
