WEPL has 9 teams in it for Season 10!!

I really hope we can do some damage..

Many people are saying that WEPL doesn't deserve it... lets prove them wrong, and show them what WEPL is all about!!

Thats a good group of teams right there. Represent us well guys, I have faith you will, this is a much stronger league than people give us credit for.

I'm looking forward to it. The other time we were in it we scheduled our games so early and got owned by being unable to adjust to the massive offseason sim changes until the tourney was already over for us. We'll try not to make the same mistakes this time around.

First time we are not part of it . I hope we are back in next season. Good luck to you and make us proud.

is really anoying as i look at that list and realise i have played agains 7 of the 9 teams with the Manchester Mob and the Berlin storm.

I looked for it as well, I'm assuming Greenwood will be one of the higher seeds so I wanted to find out what USA Pro team we were going to be matched up with.

At this point I think it's only in the private Rankings forums. I think they're still deciding on the 64th team. Basically, when all was said and done and someone did a league tally several members scoffed at WEPL getting 9 bids our of the 64 total. Many folks don't think highly of WEPL :'(

I can understand some people's view of WE, historically it's been quite aways behind. But last season in scrimages I think that we showed our top 8 teams in each division were probably from top to bottom as competitive as WE has ever been.

To be perfectly fair, WEPL didn't do all that well against other leagues according to WOC's WEPL vs. World thread. I also think WEPL is a bit underestimated in general, but until we actually prove we can do some damage against the big hitters, we probably deserve the crappy image that we're getting.

im hoping Paris has a good showing...We signed several lower level guys and have a completely new backfield(new FB, and two new RBs) so not sure how everything is going to work. And we are thin on the Offensive Line...

I think what is hurting the perception of WEPL is the lack of any one truly dominating team, which I think is a good thing for the league as a whole. There are a lot of good or very good teams, but probably none that would qualify as excellent.

I'd say that's probably the best way to describe this league.
