RDE, i am wondering do i continue with str, spd and agility in the ratios as they are, or do i go more into one than the others? he isnt missing tackles, so i thought i would leave that for now.

i have just started intense training vision and confidence and will probably stick with those most if not all of season ten. i am just unsure as to what to work on next and do i keep spreadin the SPs between the three or do i cap one over the over first.

help?

the other thing i am debating with myself is when to use season ten boosts? early to get into VA sooner or later.

You're building this guy as a speed rusher, so strength isn't necessary at this point.

When building, remember one key thing, GET PRIMARIES UP FIRST... then worry about your secondaries... it will hurt you to start, but will make you a much better player int he long run.. On the boost front, wait it out, be patient... Won't pay to boost early until level 28 or better...

so keep going on agility? or start on speed? also 9 of my agility is easily changed into speed. do you think having the speed or agility is better?

Depends on what do you want to do:

If you want to put up some stats now there's one way, if you want to wait it out and build a better player down the road there's another way. However, personally I would try to put up some stats now. Your player starts to decline from his 10th season, and I don't see the logic of building a player for 6-7 seasons and then only enjoy him for 3 instead of enjoying him for a solid 5 seasons. Also, with Bort's nerfing of DEs even if your attributes may be higher with slower build, but that do NOT necessarily translate into more stats down the road. Too many people have shown that in GLB that a superior build DE still puts up relatively the same numbers of stats as lesser build DEs against equal competition.

First boosting: I would say when you hit lvl 22 then boost to lvl 25, then you get 2 VA points and you start to accumulate fame for more VA points. VA really help your player out in long run so you should try to accumulate fame and acquire VA as soon as possible.

Second, attributes priorities.

1) Speed - way too low to do anything else. Get it up to 80s, but don't go crazy about it.
2) Agility - again, 80s.
3) Vision - your DE don't do anything much when this is too low. When the speed and agility are on par work on this, get it to at least first cap (48)
4) Confidence - this is a solid support attribute that won't make or break your player, but it is the difference between a well-build player being average, and a well-build player being solid. Get it up to at least first cap after vision (48)
5) Contrary to popular belief strength does matter for pass rushers that wants to sack the QB, even if you want to do Evasive. Gone are the day when DE can load up on agility and rush pass OTs. Bort has changed the blocking dynamics that strength will be part of the formula no matter what. So this needs to be in the 60s after the first 4 are done.
6) Don't totally neglect stamina. Your DE won't do much when he's constantly returning to bench for water. Don't go crazy but don't neglect it. 30s-40s is fine as you level up.

Third, SAs

First Step, Shed Block, and Tunnel Vision should all be at least 7 by the time you hit the lvl mid-30s (either through SPs or AEQs)

Change of Direction - a solid and often neglect SA. Get it to 5 after those 3.

Of course don't stop. Ideally if all of them can be 10 that is great. Keep an eye on them.

Strong Base - get it up after your str is in the mid- high- 60s

Good luck

superb advice. thanks. as youve indicated, i think if i shift 9 points from agility into speed in items, will keep speed and agility on par as i work them up. vision and confidence are being intense trained this entire season(well at least as long until i can start putting points into vision.) the other things i can do with time, or luck when rolling advanced items. just got lucky with a shed block +% break block item. another of those next season would go a long way to putting a smile back on my face

thanks again.

Just keep your equipment in agility. You will want to switch it back later anyway. Once you get speed up. Put your +6 from custom in speed and leave it there. Put all your equipment in agility till you retire.

ive kept the agility items, just got some speed ones as well for now. as i increase my natural speed i will use the agility again. so i only concentrate on speed sps but increase both. ive done it this way around because ive already got +6 agility CE, so it makes sense so i dont have to use any more flex points.
