Brilliant.

Any thoughts on the second question.

Personally, I wouldn't. There are too many other worthy attributes/SAs for a safety to push past 68 speed. I suppose if I was making a specialty FS build, I might go farther but it would be planned from conception.

Good point.

I would. Safeties have to cover a lot of area pretty fast. The sooner you can get somewhere the better. But if you're thinking short term... then no.

It isn't a matter of short term or long term for a safety. It is a matter of trade-offs--it isn't as if you ever run out of worthy places to put your SPs. Don't get me wrong, I think a case could be made for a safety going to 73 or 77 speed...I just think it would have to be a carefully thought-out build playing in a specific kind of defensive scheme in order to truly take advantage of it.

I think for a FS if you get speed to 68 as the first thing you ever do and then put all equipment on it over your career you should be fine, there are just so many things you could spend those 20+ points on instead of getting speed to 74

I don't think you need any specific scheme to take advantage of a fast player. Fast and agile players work in any defensive scheme. Slow players are the ones who have to be bottlenecked into schemes. If you plan it out right you can easily have 77+ natural speed, 68+ agility and even 60+ vision by your late 20's.

I think those numbers are a little off that's more realistic by around lvl 32

Nice avatar....
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1089674 - lvl 28 - 75 speed 62 agil 54 vision

this will substantiate what is more realistically possible. some atty's have training bar not rolled over yet as well....
