Seems there are a lot of WRs still looking for teams. I can't seem to get an offer for my guy! Is my build that bad, or are there too many WRs out there these days?

you said it! not a single offer for my wr...with my DE and OT I had offers 20 minutes after posting for a job..been a WEEK and nothing for WR.

Need to put EQ into 1, 2 max attributes IMO....

As mentioned, attributes spread all over the place. Not so sure on the builds really.

No Custom EQ. I know if I am looking for a player, and have a few to choose from, no Custom = immediate pass for me.

Also, your levels are not optimal for finding a team.

Typically coming out of D leagues and PeeWee leagues, players move on to lvl 13 Cap leagues, which 10 and 11 are not as optimal as say, a lvl 13 would be.

The last item, is a problem because of your original question.. too many WRs to choose from, so the competition might be a little tougher. My WR has been fortunate enough to have the previous team fall apart while he was 34, leaving him at the perfect level for the 34 Cap leagues. I have a number of offers I am currently considering.

I had offers on my WR within an hour after becoming a FA. It depends on what people are looking for and how quick they can find you.

It really depends on the build and how desperate owners are. A lot of the worse quality builds will move at the end of free agency when the better ones have signed. Flipper and Bennett, you guys may want to look up some posts on cap building or smart building to see how to "correctly" build, that is maximize your points and training. If you guys want to put all your WRs points in punting, you can still do that, but smart building will tell you more about how to maximize it so that punting attribute is further along at level 40 was than if you just plugged SP into whenever you could.

The forums are like putting your nuts in meat grinder.

Slow building is the way to go. Don't invest in SA's until later 24 on. You have to have your abilities at a certain level to trigger the SA's. Invest in your CE. If you don't ave CE that could be why you aren't getting offers. Owners want you to invest in equipment.

I added a column in excel for catches/drops, and then averaged the ratings of the players who had the top 10 most catches with the fewest drops, and I made my catching, vision, and jumping the same ratio. In other words, Now I am working on speed and agility.

I did waste too many points on SAs. I'm going 100% speed and agility until both are at the soft cap, then I'll reevaluate. Bottom line is, I know my WR is not the best Lvl 11, but he isn't the worst. Throw him the ball, and he can hang on, relative to other Lvl 11s.

That thread has been dead since August. They didn't used to tell you what was going on in the replay so every PD or incompletion was assumed to be a drop. Everyone who is in the know doesn't look at drop numbers, they look at target completion percentage. Drops are a worthless stat they honestly don't matter.

Tell me more about target completion percentage.

Your build isn't bad but its not great. You have equipment spread out all over the place. An unwritten rule is equipment into 1 and at the most 2 attributes.

i had to retire my wr. so sad. his build was beastin to! lol. now ive got a lv1 lb and a lv1 ot. so sad
