Either they are the same thing, or catch ball chance won't work at all for a CB.

Personally, I'd like to think they are the same thing for a CB, but who knows with bort at work...

How are they different? for a CB at least. I believe an INT is defined as a caught ball by the defender sooo there is no difference between catching a ball and intercepting a ball if you are a defensive player.

I believe the Intercept chance gets to roll first and the catch ball chance later along with the WR

unless you made the game... you dont know. if your an WR, prolly halps more than you think. defensive, prolly better served spending points elswhere

so what about the guy who has both?

id tried both and had each pc up to 13% of the one or other(not at same time or same CB) and have noticed no additional production if anything they dropped in production

Isn't more like

For Int Chance +
Chance for int * Intercept chance bonus -----> Catch int? * Intercept bonus

For Catch Ball
Chance for Int ------> Catch Int * Catch ball chance bonus

I'm about 99% positive that I have read a post by Bort stating that they are the exact same thing.
