I ALWAYS go for the attribute modifier + SA bonus over just an SA bonus. It is simply "easier" and "faster" to upgrade.

If you were a SS, who cannot add to the 1st step, it MIGHT be a closer call, but since you can add to the 1st step AND get the AEQ in your Eq mix faster, Id say definately the Agility + 1st step.

Change Direction>>>>>>First Step for a safety . . . but it does depend somewhat on scheme. Anyway, considering the attribute is only +1, I think you have to choose the clearly superior SA.

keep shopping for super vision or closing speed.

i already have a closing speed

change direction is WAY better. Get it. You will use it way more than first step. Both are good, but change direction is just better.
